The only idea I can come up with is a cohesive storyline that actually made sense other than Decepticons attacking powerplants every episode. That is if you're talking G1.
Beastwars had a much better storyline, I just couldn't get into the animal alt modes. I never understood the purpose of it.

Well, Marvel finished Furmans first storyline, which means that Jhiaxus could have possibly died in #12 regardless. It's just too bad, if the comic had been running those kinds of numbers now days, it would have been a top seller. Just goes to show how much comic books have declined in recent years.
