My gut instinct was telling me that it's from one of the Movieverse Starscream toys, but all my searches and viewing images of Movieverse Starscream toys don't bring up any sign of that piece.
If it helps, I have reason to believe it's actually Unicron Trilogy or earlier.

Only a few questions since I already know many of these but...
Is that red truck Alternators Optimus?
Who is that grey sports car next to the red truck?
Who is that black tank in the back?
What are those silver panels in front of that black tank?
And thats it.

Yes, or Binaltech.
Armada Wheeljack, I think, with Minicon
Dunno
Looks like a display stand for one of the 6 inch Tits. If so, the black tank's probably The Fallen.

The stand's nameplate has the unique faction symbol they mate for him, so it's more than likely, it's a certainty.

That's right. At first I couldn't make out the blurry insignia in the image, but a closer look shows it to be so.Nemesis Primal wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The black tank is indeed Titanium 6" The Fallen and the gray piece is likely his display stand.

Yup, it was him sure enough. I got him (and a few others) and took a better pic:

I know this comes off the Armada Optimus mold, but is it from the original one or the Powerlix redeco? Both seem to have paint aps I'm lacking on this.

I suspected as much. The question is, a factory error on which version?

Another good question. The crystal at the center of your Matrix looks too blue to be the standard Hasbro version of figure, but it also doesn't look blue enough to be the Hasbro Powerlinx version either.Nemesis Primal wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Maybe it's a factory error that forgot to have the pecs painted.

And I can't find pics of the Matrixes from either Takara version or from the Hasbro Kmart version.

The Kmart version is painted, and I believe the Takara version is as well. In fact, EVERY Hasbro version has paint there. I'm stumped.

Except for the Lucky Draw version which is just Gold Chrome all over.
The paint looks rather thick on that matrix piece. Its possibly a K.O., or a very rare factory error.
Its certainly not from the Costco Exclusive Repaint though. (All Yellow Chest, with black pecks)
Other than that, no way to say what Prime it came off of.

This didn't come in a box of spare parts. This came out of stuff I had packed away, so I know it came off either the original or Powerlinx version of the mold since those are the ones I have, but I guess I won't know which until the other turns up.

Probably the lighting, I'm not a great photographer.
Judging from the color of the Matrix core, it looks like the Powerlinx version. Having the two pictures side-by-side helped, thanks.
