Ideon, literally THE most powerful weapon in all of media, and possibly Chuck Norris in robot form, vs. Life, the Universe, and Everything.

Keep in mind, Planets, other robots, and even Galaxies are all destructable to Ideon. Especially that Ideon Gun, the most powerful weapon ev4r.

So, go ahead. Think of something that can beat him.

Obviously Primus summons his greatest warriors from past, present and future to take on Ideon for one last stand. In an all out battle involving, the Avengers, the JLA, the Green Lantern Corps, Unicron, and every gobot ever going all out as they poor it on.

Wave after wave of superpowered warrior comes at the malignant mechanoid as wave after wave burns in failure.
All the while, as Ideon dispatches the cannon fodder, Chuck Norris has secretly infiltrated the titanic machine. Using his powerful beard-tentacles, Chuck fuses himself to the core of the robot. Ideon starts to convulse violently as it realizes that it is being destroyed from the inside out.

Tearing itself apart, Ideon realizes it is being absorbed into Chuck Norris. In a blinding flash of light, and 80's pop music, Ideon's corpse reforms into the giant, Super-Chuck Norris, who uses his powers to revive everything Ideon ever killed, only now everything had a beard and a cowboy hat.

Its common sense people.

SHIN. GETTER. ROBO.

Why? Simple...

Normally, Shin is pretty farking strong. The Shine Spark can tear through pretty much anything and Stoner Sunshine can decimate a planet with ease. As is though, it doesn't fare much of a chance against the Giant GM...

Now if the limiter that Dr. Saotome mentioned in @3 came off, its a whole new ballgame, LITERALLY.

At that point, there is nothing getter CAN'T do! Want a new planet? Done, evolve to your peak? Easy! Make a new universe, complete with space colonies, alien life forms, and plenty of Super Deformed Chibi Robots?

A cake walk..

Besides, where is Shin Getter doing anything Ideon can't or hasn't? Both cut planets in half (Ideon Sword/Shin Getter Tomahawk), Both trash planetary surfaces (Black Hole Generator/Stoner Sun Shine)...And everyone should already know the universe creating part by now.

Actually, the universal reset brings up an interesting problem: Can anyone be considered to have beaten Ideon if this happens? If not, should we consider dissallowing it as in the Battle of the Machine Gods thread from some months back?

Yes and no. They didn't 'beat' Ideon because they never really fought it, rather Judau (the reincarnation of Cosmo) convinced Ideon that it wasn't time for another universal reset. Technically speaking, they won due to stopping Ideon's resetting process, but fight-wise they didn't.

And yeah, Ideon's pretty cheap. What it can't destroy, it can simply reset. Though, you could consider it more of a draw, but Ideon always exists and always will exist whereas everything else could be reset and may not be reincarnated, given whether it has enough hope to be reincarnated or not. So in terms of one surviving and the other not, Ideon will always win.
