Actually yes, at least that way you'd show you have something solid and undeniable (like sales records or reports thereof) to back up your claim. No matter how much you'd scream the sky is, I don't know, a certain shade of pink, nobody would believe you unless you tell them to look out the window (if the sky was actually pink)

It is a bit of bold claim, considering:

- Dreamwave lasted for a mere 5 years (2000-2005), going belly-up after financial problems culminating in a million dollar debt, and being unable to pay their artists.
- IDW is still ongoing, for a good 10 years now and has a lot more series under the Transformers banner than Dreamwave, even just counting the G1-inspired comic series.

Unless IDW suddenly stopped (which won't happen any time soon), sooner or later, it will eventually outsell Dreamwave, if it hasn't already.

People bought Dreamwave because it was easier to buy comic books back then and also the fact piracy was not as big as it is now.



Doesn't change that Dreamwave was boring and the art style was atrocious thanks to Pat Lee
