Earlier this year, we reported that IDW Publishing, the company that currently holds the publishing rights to the Transformers license claimed fourth position in the competitive Comics market.
Thanks to RyallTime, the blog of IDW's Editor-in-Chief Chris Ryall, IDW have remained in the 4th position in the comic book industry:
MARVEL COMICS 39.36% 44.83%
DC COMICS 31.55% 32.96%
DARK HORSE COMICS 5.40% 3.33%
IDW PUBLISHING 3.21% 3.27%
IMAGE COMICS 2.81% 3.04%
The first percentage is based on dollars, with the second percentage relates to units sold.
Good news for both IDW Publishing and the Transformer fandom in general.
