Orion Pax and Earth - Robots in Disguise
Windblade and Cybertron - her series
Megatron and the Lost Light - More Than Meets The Eye

We know one of the 'heroes' is going to die, as is teased in the Dark Cybertron #12 solicit. And Roberts mentioned on Twitter that all the MTMTE season 2 solicits are very spoilery too, so as soon as those pop up, we'll know more.

As it stands, I am very intrigued.

So who is Megatron now? At the end of Transformers Prime he run off crying a changed man and now in the comic universe he is sporting an Autobot symbol. I am sure he will just end up going back to who he has always been.......

Prime and the IDWverse are not the same storyline, only the Beast Hunters comics were.

Right now, Megatron is being used as a means to an end in Shockwave's plan, after a return from the fight with D-Void in Chaos and an attempted planetary takeover in RID. He will soon fight Galvatron though, according to the solicits. :-?

Megatron is not evil for evils sake he was a freedom fighter who lost his way, so after cybertron is free of tyranny this makes sense.

Yet the timing is suspicious. A repentant Megatron in IDW just a few short months after a repentant Megatron in Prime? Is this perhaps some attempt to put Megatron out of his usual role as main antagonist in favor of slotting in a new one?

If so... well, I still don't get it. Megatron was already given the chance for peace, and instead degenerated into a more conventional sadist during RID. He is the cause of the majority of the galactic damage caused by the Cybertronian civil war. To think that Optimus or Bumblebee or Rodimus would ever accept this madman into their ranks and give him the rite of Autobrand boggles my mind.

I'm curious to see how it plays out, but I strongly suspect I'll hate it when it does.

I don't understand why the even decided to give him such an elaborate back-story to show how good his intentions and views are. Sure Megatron Origin did show that he kinda descended into his position, but I liked it more before the super extensive revolutionist retcon.

Lol, they would make such good room mates, they even share hobbies!

I can see the scenes already, Swerve talking and annoying him, and Megatron contemplating using his fusion canon on himself or Swerve.

Also, how will the DJD react to this? Will their heads explode? Will they hunt Megatron, going against the very thing they said they waited for? Or will they stop and open a holiday resort?
