The Living in the Gutters Column on Comic Book Resources website has revealed the cover for IDW's upcoming Transformers Movie sequel comic book series.

The title is reminiscent of an old classic Transformers comic book cover, the Marvel Transformers issue #5.

Is this the same story printed in the UK Movie magazine? I have not been able to find the new Transformers UK magazine in the US anywhere.

I had an ear to ear grin before I had even scrolled down to the G1 cover. Sweet tribute! I would love to have posters of both of those covers displayed side by side. Can't wait till the sequel comic comes out.

I agree:

1) It looks awesome.
2) That WAS the best comic cover (Marvel's #5) - is till have mine, very impressive.
3) I like where it's going.
4) That is the best incarntion of Starscream I have seen.
5) Only question: Why doesn't Starscream actually look like that?

Gabriel Rodriguez, the artist who did the Optimus Prime Spotlight variant cover (as well as the artist of Beowulf, Clive Barker's The Great and Secret Show, yhe upcoming Locke & Key...)

great cover like it alot sad no release date is this story going to be true to the sequel so everyone will know what to expect in the future of the next installment of the series or is it just going to be made up just to through the fans off and making money off the comic film series.?
