Nice read, I'd say. Loved the whole bar sequence.
Quite like the art as well. It's a lovely refresher from that all red, all skewed, all depressing Livio stuff. Do not mind at all.
Looking forward to this whole racing adventure, as well. Sounds exciting. Also, Blurr. I wonder what will come off it.
And I agree, the one on the left is cuter.

I actually do like the art. It feels better this issue. As much as I miss Stone, this is still good art, and I do not mind the cartooniness of it.

I'm looking for parts, Help Me Out Please!

The art is the only thing I have a problem with in this comic. I love the idea that windblade seems to be a series that explores the larger transformers universe. I just wish the art wasnt so silly.
I have been into transformers since 1984.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.
TFCon List: Classics Skywarp, General Optimus, BW Airrazor, Transmetal Tarantulus, Alternity Prime, Fire Convoy

The whole colony/empire building direction that is being taken is very nice. I cannot wait for the next issue. Blurr in action!

I do have to add that I am LOVING Knock-out. I am so glad he is in the IDW-verse. He was one of the best things about Prime in my opinion and I'm so glad he's here. I can hear Daran Norris in every word. I just hope they dont make him too nefarious. He never seemed to be a "real" villain. Just a narcissist.

HA! Very true. Love his character. Smooth-talking-back-stabbing-speed-demon narcissist. "Oh, and he's ruuuuuuude"

After reading the full issue, the art still bothers me, but I think a combination of Howell growing into the role and me getting used to it will let it improve in my eyes as the series go on. The writing is excellent. This is what Scott can do when she isn't being tied down by a rushed crossover storyline. I love the inclusion of Knock Out, I like how Moonracer balances him out by being reserved and reasonable, I love the whole party scene, I love Windblade and co going behind Starscream's back to try to win an alliance with Velocitron. I really hope that Starscream eventually comes to see Windblade as a valuable political ally instead of just an asset, but he's Starscream, or should I say, Starscheme, so I doubt that's going to happen.
Nice nod to Prime there, Knock Out's conjunx is slow and unwanted among Velocitronians. That'd be Breakdown, presumably. I hope we see him.
This issue has me looking forward to the next issue much more than TF 42 has me looking for the continuation of that series. Bring on the expansion of the universe!

Loving that a Prime writer officially made Knock Out "gay" by giving him a husband... and who does it end up being? Breakdown of course!

It would have been cooler if they went with Polar Claw as Knock Out's Conjunx...

Since KO is more than likely the catcher, his husband should be a bear. Get it??

Can't we have "combiner Breakdown" and "Muscle Man Breakdown"? I mean come on! We have "Tall Tankor" and "Fat Tankor"!

ok. I actually have a problem with Breakdown(prime) being in IDW. it's a serious problem too.
I don't have the arms micron figure.
Now I'll have to pay extra for it. Dang it.

I truly tried to love Scott Howell's work, but it just didn't happen
. Although I doubt there is anyone else in the IDW family that can capture the charm and innocence of the series, the fact is that she over-does-it with the characters expressions. Seriously, did you see Lightbright? I suppose Ms. Scott's "Walt Disney" art may attract the little ones, and I do hope she holds the coarse until Sarah Stone is back. She is coming back, right?
Otherwise I truly love the story, the new characters, and seeing Windblade teaching the guys how politics are done. Oh and Lightbright X Sparkstalker are the cutest couple ever

It's not really the right color or ALT mode but I want to use BH Arcee as Moonracer. At least until she sees an actual release...

Story was good but the art ... sorry, far too cartoonish for my liking. It would work perfectly on a title like Harley Quinn or even Squirrel Girl ... books that are meant to be light hearted, but not a book that's suppose to be a little on the "serious" side.
