What would his accessory load out be? His original toy did not have any guns, just good old fashioned 'parts forming' Rocket Punches. He also had laser hands or missiles depending on how you want to interpret them. Did he have a gun in the TV show?
His transformation will be super simple to translate into MP form and given that Sideswipe (and I hope Red Alert) are super popular, Lamborgini will let us have one more run/mold with their official stamp.
Any frames of the G1 cartoon with Sunstreaker with gun would be wonderful. Also other nice accessories would be pluses to list here.

I would think an MP Sunstreaker would sell better than Red Alert.
Imagine that Lambor mold in a glorious yellow deco, those 'ears' folding out (might need a remold for clearance) and one big 'koff gun!

That will be a major disappointment if they dont release him. Hopes of Sunstreaker coming out too was a major factor in getting Side Swipe. They were two of my favorites from the cartoon.

Painting Sideswipe yellow and calling him "Sunstreaker" would be an abomination. The Classics came close, but a Masterpiece MUST be a hood-foot former.

I agree. I think it was OK that Classics/Universe Sunstreaker wasn't a "hood-foot former" because the idea of the Classic universe is that they're re-imaginings of classic characters. But for the MASTERPIECE line, I really think it has to be more like the original.

Well there is a difference between a retail mainline having an interesting alternate transformation/retool and a premium collector's line.
I would hate a yellow Sideswipe called Sunstreaker. I extremely doubt they could even do it with the head being the way it is.
