It seems as though MP's and alternators are most liked. Which makes me wonder why Hasbro would discontinue the alternators line and do so with no Bumblebee, UM, Starscream, Megatron so on and so on. Key figures. Perhaps there will be a MP Bumblebee? Hmm, wonder how that would play out.

It wasn't nearly as popular with the kids as it is with us. Also Masterpiece, Alternators, Binaltech, Kiss Players and Alternity are all considered a single "hyperline" by most fans (don't search the term, I just coined it) so MP Megatron and Starscream go with Alt Swindle and Rumble & Ravage while MP Optimus, Magnus & Grimlock go with Alt Jazz, Alt (or Kiss) Hot Rod plus Alternity Bumblebee & Cliffjumper. Their all roughly scale in robot modes and designed in the same style.

Toughy of a question... But going by what Transformers I have in my possession:

G1 Jetfire (Pure Awesome)
Classics Ultra Magnus (No city Commander Armor though :sad:

)
RotF Sideswipe (He's just too sexy NOT to pick)
Jazz.. of some sort be it G1, movie 1 in G1 colors version, or TFA
and Alternity Nemsis (Black) Convoy

Phew that was tough. I'm just glad I didn't have to figure in my Macross guys. :grin:

Having bought and sold my collections in the past it's something that I'm not afraid to do but I've always kept some figures but usually in the region of 20 - not five!

If I had to make a choice it would be:

My MISB Gen 1 Jetfire
Binaltech Meister
Masterpiece Skywarp
Masterpiece Optimus
Masterpiece Megatron

I'd also hold on to my Masterpiece Brave Exkaiser as he's not a Transformer (although made by Takara.
