I don't accept "mass shifting." I find it a convenient contrivance. (Is that the right word?) But, as has been said, the animation was rife with inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and outright continuity errors, sometimes within seconds. The cartoons were 30 minute toy commercials produced under extreme time constraints. The fact that they are awesome is almost accidental.

We're all going to have our own personal canon, scales, etc. And we are all entitled to our opinions based on our own personal preferences and to make purchasing choices off of those. Perhaps there can be some debate about our reasoning. (I know I like to see consistent reasoning, but am guilty of being hypocritical myself.) On occasion, by talking through these inconsistencies, some of our minds can be changed. (I bought ManiaKing after being against it at first. Some of X's comments actually persuaded me.)

Discourse is good, but it is silly to obsess over aspects we find important with people who do not find them important. If X would prefer deluxe, that's cool. I disagree and I do think Voyagers are reasonable, but it's not an outlandish suggestion, and definitely not bad reasoning. (I find bad reasoning in over generalizations, and people who speak for me when I don't feel that way, like saying, "We all accept soundwave, blaster, Megatron, and reflector shrinking for their alt modes." Personally, I would prefer Megatron to only be wielded by Gestalts or other very large bots, and not other singular bots like OP, Soundwave, or Starscream.)

Keeping to the topic at hand, the regular seekers already turned me off with the proportionally skinny arms, giant shins, and long chins, so add to that everything that makes a conehead even uglier and I wouldn't give these a second thought, even if the price was remotely decent.

First of all I dont even see these as voyager scale. They are clearly MP scale. Wasnt there a picture way back of the prototype standing next to MP sideswipe ? So how would that make it voyager ? Maybe if you believe in sacraficing robot scale because planes are bigger than cars. But Im not into that Michael Bay concept where transformers cant grow or shrink during transformation. We all accept soundwave, blaster, Megatron, and reflector shrinking for their alt modes. So why does everyone keep complaining that the seekers should be voyager ? Do you really want them to be the same height as Prime ? Do you really want them to dwarf the autobots finest warriors like ironhide and jazz ? Really they werent that big in the cartoon...

Case in point >:oP

Not for nothing, but the size chart does show seekers to be taller than the Autobot cars; about the height of Ironhide.

Not that scale in the G1 toon is at all consistant in anything but the movie. I think X's memory of the cartoon is flawed or he's remembering some specific scene where the scale is just messed up. I can't think of many scenes where Starscream was just standing there next to an Autobot car.

I mean, it's fine to prefer deluxe sized Seekers, but that's not quite how it was.

Firstly Congrats!!
Secondly separate bank accounts. Not that I'm married or anything but definitely have separate accounts. I'm sure it'll prevent a lot of arguments.

I believe this was X's clever way of saying if it's called a MP then it has no size scale. To make matters worse,X,rarely remembers his set rules he creates. Often times X will create a set of different rules for himself each day.

X's,reasoning most of the time is confusing & rarely makes any sense.

Most online fans reasoning. Will assign a size scale to a MP TF toy based off measuring it in inches or cm. like saying the MP seekers are Eight inch Ultra sized MP toys. MP-09 & MP-10 are Nine inch Leader sized MP toys. MP Soundwave & MP Grimlock are Eight inch Ultra sized toys. MP Cars-bots are voyager scale MP toys due to them being Over Six inches tall in bot mode.

Exactly all this above. just to add a bit to this below.

The sad part about X's lashing out here. Is these Igear conair toys are not even meant to homage any 1980's TF toys or cartoon characters scales. These Conair toys are meant to homage the IDW TF comics art designs scales shown in the comics. So whatever X is writing here makes no sense as usual.
