Third party toy maker iGear is at it again. They've listed a new pre-order for a MP01/01L Trailer. The trailer itself appears to be a copy of the trailer that came with Takara's MP-04. The set also comes with a Roller(with Oil Gun&Pipe)and two guns. Roller looks to be an upscaled version of the one that came with Takara's THS-02. The trailer is priced at $119.00 with free shipping scheduled to release June 15th.

Wasn't this supposed to be longer and closer to the THS 02 trailer?

This comes far too late, had this been released a few weeks ago I would have bought it, but now that I know of MP-10 Prime I'll be getting that instead. This is about half of what that will cost plus it comes with loads of sweet stuff.
Money's tight at the moment anyway.

I read in the "fine print" that they're still working on the up-sized trailer. This one's apparently made by some company OTHER than iGear... guessing for the USA market that couldn't snag the official trailer.

I'm getting one, looks like a good trailer to me! I have an orange Hasbro MP Optimus Prime that will still look like cruddy orange piece of crap next to this but at least he will have his trailer. The Roller is great (though I prefer blue Rollers) I have two of the Hybrid Style Optimus Primes and the Roller that comes with is great! I really like the look of the sawed off ion blaster. Looking forward to this

Just bought MP04 off ebay, so no thanks. Mostly because of how beat up my Anniversary Prime is looking.

iGear should just admit defeat with their upsize version. There's no reason to buy it.

Okay, so it's not Powermaster Prime. It's just another MP Prime mold. How many does that make now? Does anyone get tired of all these MP versions? It'd be nice if they actually released something that isn't a rehashing of old stuff. It'd be nice if they released the rest of the Dinobots. Now that I would buy and mix them in w/ the Classics/RTS/Generations/yaddablahblah as they may be more size accurate.

I got this one confused w/ MP-10 which hasn't been shown yet. I'm still wishing they came out w/ something that we haven't seen for this series whether official or 3rd party.

I didn't see that, but I'm curious about it because I've had the upsized trailer on order at BBTS for quite some time now.

I'm wondering if this will fill that order or not. :-?

Well, that depends a lot on your situation.

If you have a trailer-less Prime, and didn't want to pay for the cab in the MP-04 set just to get him with a trailer, like I didn't, having someone release just the trailer is pretty nice.

If they would put out a black trailer too, to match the MP-01B, I'd get in on this set, as I prefer the size of this to the larger version. But even more, I want my trailers for MP-01 and MP-01B to match.

As far as MP-10, he is going to be completely rescaled, and is also showing up at $250!

$100 is a heck of a lot less to have a complete Optimus Prime, and at the larger size.

Just yesterday we reported that iGear opened up pre-orders for a KO Masterpiece Optimus Prime trailer. Some of you might remember that back in 2009 when iGear was announcing a new project almost every week, projects which still haven't come out, that one of those was a trailer for MP Optimus Prime called TF04.

Original MP trailer on the left, TF04 on the right.

This trailer that was supposed to be function wise based on THS 02 Optimus Prime's trailer and larger than the actual MP trailer has now been cancelled, the reason given was "time and cost", well KOing something is cheaper after all.

I'd get it, but I need to know if they are releasing a black version.

I have an upscaled G1 trailer that I bought many, many years ago, which is fine for prime at the moment.

I'd definitely upgrade to this style though, but I'm only interested if I can match one for MP-01B
