I would like to purchase the TF001, however, i need to see what the final product looks like.. make sure the new head sculpt's blue, matches the Fans Project Blue, and also that the head isn't too detailed for the rest of the figure in armor..

That has been my only concern so far, is that the Igear Head may be too detailed for the FP Armor set.. and will look out of place, like the images in the Igear gallery.. the missiles are cool But I could buy them online for like 6 bucks..the gun, the hammer, and the flag are nice touches.. but I'm not sold on this yet..

as with the other Igear Merchandise, I will have to see the final products before I try to convince myself it is worth a buy..

Incidentally, Friday (night), I shall do a review in the toy review section on the New FP Superion add on set, with images.. be looking for that Saturday morning guys! I am gonna make some seriously cool points on how I love this set! Please don't miss it!

The Autoscout is a must-buy to me. I like Soundwave's cassette minions and this one is nicely detailed.

I already preordered Grimlock's crown. The box is nice, but it's going into the recycling bin, so I wish they'd just finish it.

Of the Magnus add-ons, only the hammer and missile launchers intrests me. And I'm not too sure that's worth the $60 asking price.

They must almost be ready to ship out. I'm excited for the City Commander Upgrade, even though I'm not going to use the head. I'm buying it for the hammer and weapons and missiles.

not yet. To my knowledge TF-001 hasn't been received yet by retailers.

Dang, with the way that iGear's projects are scheduled, I wonder if all of a sudden, their stuff will fly into the retailers and we get all of their products at once?

didn't someone on another forum thread say he got one if these and the gun broke and the missiles crumbled??

I can't believe they'd allow that, and keep a rep in the fan community, which is their bread and butter

@ skwarp-2, I second that, unless the poster was shooting from the hip or he might have purchased the CC upgrade from ebay? Btw, my primary source here in SEA hasn't received his stock of the CC head yet (same guy where I get my G3 Trailer,Crossfire Superion,TFX Convoy Gas Can Gun etc)

Wow, I think I read that in a thread today. Yeah, that's rough. I mean...if the missile actually crumbled...what could explain that kind of structural failure? Is it a freak occurrence or a sign of something else in the production?

That was the SGCollect CC upgrade kit. Made from resin. Its more of a garage kit quality. Also known for the infamous "joker smile" CC head.

As far as I know, iGear still hasn't shown the physical hammer and flag for their upgrade set. So it could be awhile before they release it. Plus, with FansProject announcing their cheaper upgrade set with what fans really wanted, it will probably hurt the sales for iGear's set. $11.99 for FP's set, compared to $58.99 for iGear's set. I know many fans already canceled their preorders for TF001 for FP's set.

Oh, I remember the "joker smile" head sculpt. Why so serious?

I didn't even get to the point of considering pre-ordering the iGear Ultra Magnus accessories. It was nifty but the price held me back. Once I read that FP were planning a much more affordable accessory kit, I put in a pre-order right away.

I always felt iGear's CC upgrade kit was a ripoff of SGCollect's idea. iGear didn't even redesign the shoulder rockets or rifle. Its still very G1, instead of Classics updated. Plus, the head design is more similar to what SGCollect tried, than any G1 Ultra Magnus head design I've seen. They could of at least tried to copy the head design from the G1 movie/show.
