Forum member S250 links us to an iGear update of their latest creation, the TF-007 Computer Control Center. The update shows off the prototype of the set, with colours bringing out the details of Control Center. The TF-007 is meant to resemble the insides of the Generation One Ark. Check out some of the pictures from the update below.

I like it! Don't know where I'm putting it or how I'm paying for it but I want it. Kinda want the Decepticons version too. I noticed they removed the faction symbol detail, that was previously molded on. That's probably a good idea. If the rest of Hasbro's legal team is as vicious as Greg Lombardo kinda sounded at Botcon about fan product, it's a good idea to cover your ass.

quite frankly, I'm sick of all this-maybe this is too much info-but My one sister died only two months ago, and my other one is going through some serious mental problems, and do you know what made me feel slightly better around the time of her funeral? My superion upgrade kit arrived. My point is this-if hasbro/ takara want to throw a tizzy 'cos somone is doing something better than them, then instead of throwing rattles out of prams, do one of two things
1: Stop making random bad paint jobs, and do what the fans want (ala fans project) so that 3rd parties wouldn't have to,or...

2: Join up with the people who clearly have the talent.

I'm sick of all this bad mouthing and "legal" business that could seriously get people into trouble and screw up lives over a few flippin' toys-things that are supposed to bring joy to folk in this god forsaken b**tred of a world.

Hunh, I don't think we censor 'bastard'. Do we censor 'bastard'?

Nope? Cool.

Anyway, this is your no-rebuttal freebie because you are clearly having a worse week than me.

I suggest anyone who feels like playing counterpoint on this one gives this a pass as well. Because I know you jackels are waiting in the wings. Always. :P

thanks, and I won't censor (or mis-spell) myself again.
If people want to jump on me for my point, then they can-but they better have a better argument than "they're losing out on money, how would you like your idea ripped off?"
How do million dollar conglomerates lose money on a few fan-made products? Especilally when people like me buy fans project stuff, then buy rotf leader megatron, for no good reason? Don't care for the design, and have no space for it due to having so much official stuff, classics jetfire has to sleep on my bed?? And ideas being ripped off? we're not talkin' about some humble dude inventing the wheel, and then someone else takin the credit! After 25 years, we all know who to thank.

And, thanks counter-punch for the words, means a lot, wasn't going for the sympathy vote, but appreciate it big time.
And your namesake was always one of my faves since watching "the rebirth" VHS for the first time back in the day (ooh, another official purchase) :APPLAUSE:

Wow this is really...........orange. Not necessarily a bad thing, I know the original animation had it pretty orange as well. I have this pre-ordered, hopefully the quality is decent and it'll fit on my shelving okay.

You took what I was saying the wrong way. I'm quite fond of the majority of fan produced items in the last few years. Some come out great, some, not so much. I was making an observation based on the info I have at hand. That's all. I am sorry for your loss man, my condolences. I'm assuming this is an appropriate response CP?

no mate, sorry if it came out the wrong way. My outburst wasn't aimed at you, I understand perfectly what YOU were saying, I just took the part about 'viciousness' in the legal team as a general case in point. And , as you can see, that's who my post was aimed at. You and many other fans are of no problem to me whatsoever, and apologise again if it seemed like i took you as an example, and your good self certainly don't owe me a response.
I'll hit myself for not being more clear :P

i have a pre-order in for this set through robotkingdom but was disappointed that the photos at robotkingdom depict the set as being twice as large as the actual item. the dimensions are accurately described and listed at robot kingdom but the photos suggest that the set actually covers twice the amount of floor space more than the set includes. Anyone thinking about purchasing this set should know this. thank you.
