Seibertron wrote:I see our Illinois friends over at TFW are having some difficulties. Wish they'd move over here to help make the Illinois forum on Seibertron.com more popular like our Michigan forum is. Plus they've got one of their own Chicagoans (ahem ... me) as the owner of this site. It'd be really awesome to get more of them over here. I'll get those guys over here eventually! They're an awesome group of guys, except for the fact that they post on TFW. But we won't hold that against them. Or will we?

I know what you want to hold against me.

Honestly, as long as you don't mind off topic talk in this thread, I am sure the TFW guys would be happy to come over here.

I'm definitely open to suggestions. I'm all ears if you guys have some ideas on how to improve these forums to make them more appealing to you guys, whether it's the appearance or by adding some additional forums that you guys like (such as forums for high-end collectors or things of that nature).

I think I am just spoiled by the 3 different vBulletin forums I use daily.

I thought about switching to vbulletin a while back but I couldn't do it since vbulletin is behind the times and still codes their forums with old school html/tables and not with css. vbulletin is nice, but i prefer the more modern coding standards of phpBB.
Colors and layout, that's fully within my control however. Color styling phpBB is not one of my strong suits ... definitely open to suggestions and ideas, however.
