The Elk Grove Wal-Mart had 4 or 5 Animated Megatrons and an equal number of Shadow Blade Megatrons marked down to $20. They were on an endcap in Hardware.

Not much I've seen personally on the sightings tip. Some posters from the TFW board have seen the new Nest Wave in downstate IL (springfield area). Also the new Mighty Muggs at the Aurora TRU. Me personally I have not seen much, but I've gotten plenty. Henkei Ghost Starscream, Buster Prime, and Amazon Japan exclusive Black Prime with DVD and legends Stealth Bumblebee. That was the real steal. $158.11 shipped 2day express. Save $100 plus by not using 3rd parties like BBTS, who want $250 before shipping.

Yay Walmart after-Christmas sale! They have Universe 2 Ultra for $15 (Skyfall, red Powerglide, and Hardhead), and univ 2 Voyagers for $11 (one Blades and a couple Dropshots, I got one of each).

New-wise, they have FAB Arcee. 'sit.

Target in Villa Park had about 3 NEST Bumblebees, a Dirge (bought), and an Armorhide. Man, Armorhide looks awesome in those colors, great markings too. Their Dlxs are at $10 right now FWIW.

target in new lenox on route 30 had about 5 burning the fallen on clearence for 10.98 and about 7 leo prime for 9.98 on clearence on back end cap in toys i got 1 of each

Bludgeon is awesome. If he were an Autobot, he would be love. But he's a Decepticon, so he is rage and destruction. Nice articulation, great molded details. The way the turret folds open to hold his small blade is just beautiful to watch. Totally worth it.

If he has any flaws, it's all the orange visible on tank mode. Seems counter-intuitive for a jungle environment. A little paint could fix that tho. HTH

Walmart in Villa Park, rt. 83, had two each of the ROTF Robot Heroes Desert Devastation and Shanghai Attack (name?) sets, I bought one of the Dev ones. It's so cool! Little Dev is so chunky and cool. I modded his right arm so it lowers a little more. The Skids and Mudflap cars are really neat- modded them to so they are free of their bases. It's a sickness I have. Wee little Lennox is adorable, altho he looks more like Ray Stantz from the old Ghostbusters cartoon. Seems like it should have been Simmons in this set. *shrug*

The TRU in Algonquin has six Insecticons sets and four Perceptors along with 2 each of the NEST deluxes and a ton of TRU exclusive figure sets.

Wal-Mart in Algonquin had a Recon Ironhide (but no Bludgeon).

Vulla Park Walmart, Rt. 83 near St. Charles Rd., had one Human Alliance Barricade this morning, which I bought. Sorry. They may have more, tho.

This Walmart is one of their newly-redone stores, w/ the large grocery section, etc., and it seems like they might be getting some TFs before other area WMs. They also have the new ROTF NEST Deluxes, Armohide, Bumblebee, and Dirge, as well as the ROTF Robot Heroes sets, Shanghai Attack and Desert Devastation. FWIW.

I saw a bunch of the 2-packs on the south side. I know you're way up north though.

I stopped by the Schaumburg and Golf Mill TRUs earlier tonight. The Schaumburg one looks like it hadn't been restocked yet from Christmas. The Golf Mill store had 1 Jazz, 2 Shockwaves and 1 Movie Prime Mighty Muggs in stock plus a lot of the TRU exclusives. I didn't seen any sign of Animated Arcee and Cybertron Mode Ratchet. Maybe they'll show up in the northern or northwest suburbs tomorrow or Thursday.
