I'm missing ZERO Transformers TOTAL that were released in the U.S.

Feel free to discuss anything about any of the thousands of Transformer toys here. Anything from Generation 1 all the way to the soon to be released, the never to be released or the hope to be released is fair game! Want to show off your stuff? Please post your's and see others in the Transformers Collections Forum.

I keep hoping I'll come across another set of auctions where I can snag them for about $50 a piece MIB. I'm still kicking myself in the ass for not buying them for that cheap when I had the chance last summer. Those 4 are some of my favorite figures of all time ... I think I owe that to Furman's incredible Classics Pretender storyline which used those 4 characters prominently for a while.

You're right, Big Grim. The Decepticon Pretenders are all pretty awesome.

I love Starscream from owning him as a nipper. An awesome Pretender! Love him! Grimlock was pretty nifty, Jazz was kick ass but I could never really warm up to Pretender Bumblebee.

You are so right about Furmans Classic Pretender storylines! That was an excellent stage of the comic. Even as a massive Grimlock fan, I found it amusing that the newly supercharged Grim still gets his butt kicked by Megatron right off the bat. Wasn't any more effective versus Thunderwing either!

Octopunch is a pretty nifty Pretender. Only downside is that he is tiny in bot mode. I really like Pretenders too. It would be cool if they gave them the classics treatment.

And then there were only 3 that I am missing ...
Wheeljack (Just need his car and accessories)

Just got my Wheeljack MIB stickers unapplied from Japan a few moments ago. This one was a tough one for me to buy because I clearly remember seeing it at the Ames department store chain back in early '91 on Clearance around the time that Ames was going out of business. I only had enough money from Christmas to buy the single carded figures that were on clearance for $2 a piece. I don't remember what Wheeljack's clearance price was but I'm sure that it was under $5 - 10. Oh well ... I've got him now.

I should have Targetmaster Slugslinger some time next week as well which will bring the total down to 2.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0110992166

I certainly never would've thought that G2 Grimlock and Snarl would be the last ones for me to own. I'm holding out on those guys hoping that I'll find sealed ones for around $50. I'll probably do something stupid in the next 4 - 6 weeks to get them so that I can at last do the Dinobot galleries before the movie comes out. I get a lot of requests for the Dinobots and that's all that I'm missing now.

About $70 for the Slugslinger.. Not that bad. If I knew you needed one I have an extra Slugslinger (I don't have a caliburst to go with the extra) and since I have two of them and could have parted with one (again you would have had to buy a claiburst).
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Interestingly enough, I actually have a Slugslinger as well missing a Caliburst. I'll be putting the Slugsliner I currently have up on eBay in the near future.

Just snagged the MIB complete G2 Snarl on eBay.

Now I'm down to missing G2 Grimlock. Anyone have a complete MIB G2 Grimlock (blue) that they want to part with for $50 - $100?

The same Professor Smooth who has never, in all his years of collecting, every bid on a G2 figure? Why would he do that?

You can find all of those by searching for "g2 grimlock" or "generation grimlock" on eBay. The condition of the figures that I'm buying have to be c-9 or c-10 figures in order to make it into the galleries. There are a couple of exceptions (some of the Cassettes and Micromasters) but for the most part I would like the best representations possible of each figure to be in the gallery. It takes me just as long to do a gallery of a not-so-perfect figure as it does one that is perfect.

I'm hoping to find a G2 complete Grimlock preferably MOC or MOSC. I would be content with one loose so long as it is in near perfect condition.

I keep most of the loose figures in zip lock bags by series in rubbermaid tubs. I keep the boxed figures in cardboard boxes though I've run out of box space for the boxed figures so many of them consume the space in my closet or on top of other boxes. I need a bigger apartment.

I was helping a new employee here move in the other day, and when we opened up a box marked "toys", there it was before us, a near mint G2 Grimlock. I told him to always cherish him.

And at very, very long last, my list of U.S. Transformers was "technically" completed yesterday on May 3rd, 2007. I now have G2 Grimlock, G2 Snarl and Targetmaster Slugslinger in my possession. G1 and G2 Dinobot galleries are in the very near future.

Oddly, I'm more excited about the 4 MIB stickers unapplied beautiful Classic Pretenders that I just received today. I can't wait to do the galleries of these babies next week.

Notice that I used the word "technically" above. There are still a few figures that have been released at retail that I do not own but I feel they are not critical pieces to claim that I "own them all". They are as follows:

TRU Cybertron Vector Prime / Starscream 2 pack
Costco Energon Prowl and Starscream (Armada repaints)
Kmart exclusive Armada Optimus Prime and Jetfire with mini-cons
Costco (or Sam's Club?) Cybertron Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus (repaints of RiD versions but I'm not sure that they're any different)
3rd wave G2 Dinobots (repaints of repaints in same series: turquoise Grimlock, green Snarl and red Slag)
G2 orange Constructicons (repaints of repaints in same series)
Botcon 1994 Breakdown
Botcon 1995 Nightracer

Sometime in the next few weeks, I might write up what I feel is my want list from the Japanese and European figures. It will be easier to keep track of which European figures I need to complete my collection than it will be to figure out a true count for the Japanese figures. I would like to buy all of the unique paint jobs and unique molds that I do not own yet. At some point, this will include some stupid stuff like the Micromasters and the like. One day.

I have some other figures that I'm looking to replace from my collection (such as G1 Ramjet, Thrust, Ironhide and Ratchet) so that I can do proper galleries of some figures that I've owned since I was a kid. In the meantime, I'm going to enjoy where my collection is at and continue plugging along with purchasing new figures and slaving away on the galleries to share with the community.

Here's some old school galleries that I plan on launching between now and the movie's release in 2 months from today: Bruticus molds, Superion molds, G1 Dinobots, G2 Dinobots, Classic Pretenders, G1 Pretenders, Fortress Maximus, Scorponok, Brave Maximus and a few other surprises.
