For once I hope BBTS will do a set with a bunch of these guys. Of course, knowing them, it'll be some awkward forced bundle that you wish to the dark gods they'd break up and sell them individually.

With a little more effort this figure could've been great, but yet again hasbro half assed it and takara didnt try to improve it. If it goes on clearance then ill probably get one just because the alt mode would make a kick ass batmobile.

It's very rare that I say this but I prefer the hasbro black colors over the takara dark blue colors.

I do however love how Takara use the BONE colors. the bone colored robot head on this toy makes it looks much more better than the cheap silver head on the hasbro version.

Personally I think the hasbro black colors work best on this mold. because I think the alt mode looks a bit like "the batmobile".

Of course, I suppose that would also mean you could make a custom Lockdown out of this. But hey, he might appear in the show anyway.

I actually just had the same thought. These are definitely gonna be troop builders for me...and I don't troop build. I also agree with many of you that are saying they will buy the Takara version if there is a shiny faceplate. THey did a great job on him.

On topic; Prime really looks like a great toyline. Vehicon looks like something I'd like on my shelf.

I was seriously debatting buying a ROTF Lockdown at TJMaxx. then taking off the ROTF Lockdown head & putting it on the hasbro TF Prime Vechicon robot body.

What Kibble are you talking about? sure the wheel and handle bars on the back but it's barely perceptible. It blends in well if you ask me. And if your referring to the battle blades or whatever. They tuck in nicely when plugged into her legs and virtually become invisible when stored that way. I think she tidies up nicely in bot mode.

But yes. SHe is delicate. I'll give you that. Sorry to use my avatar as i point of reference for my argument but really her kibble is a none issue especially when you see other photos of her. But i use it as an example of how the blades work well on her legs and the back kibble is almost irrelevant.
You may feel free to disagree of course.
