I wasn't worried... I also don't see why they'd be canceled, or that seeing the Generations Deluxe-class toys is cause to think these ones would be canceled. Toys get delayed, after all.

We saw some in-hand images of Whirl and all his garish orange about two months ago, including his final package card. And not a peep since, which is probably why we're so concerned.

EDIT: I think the chest isn't quite transformed all the way. The grill of the truck should sit a little higher giving him for of a chest and be less droopy. Or maybe it's the angle of that particular shot. It seems different than the product shots in that way to me.

Welp, looks like I get to put away my Deluxe movie Ironhide. Liked that fig, bt he was my Trail Stand-in. Coincidentally, I swore up and down that Hasbro had a lot of work cut out for them to get me to box up the Movie Hoist figure... dowgonit I think they might have pulled it off too...

I've seen that on another Scout figure (Crankcase). It's either excess plastic or paint. On my Crankcase (Chinese packaging from TRU), the stuff over his visor actually came off with no damage to the paint or figure (must have been excess plastic?).
Unless that's paint. Anyway, my point is that it's no reason to really panic until you can inspect the toy and attempt recovery!
