i REALLY wish they'd do all of the decepticons.. i mean hell.. they could be troop builders as well.. hasbro is REALLY missing out (as usual)

Definitely agree that Windcharger should be repainted as Blackjack and G2 Gobot Megatron.
Don't normally like legends but these two might tempt me. Don't like the unpainted face on Shrapnel though.
I remember in an issue of MTMTE that Tailgate was drawn kind of feminine. Am I the only one who thinks the toy looks feminine as well?

I think I read on Ace's Weblog that Skrapnel's face is silver. It just didn't photograph well.
Speaking of repaints, I wonder if Hasbro will redo Cosmos. Pathfinder seems like a good fit, though I remember someone suggesting Blaster's buddy Scrounge as a good idea for a Cosmos repaint.

I will wait for a Takara/Tomy release to maybe get some chrome and some clear/yellow plastic , as the yellow paint just does not cut it for me. And so what if I pay more, it's worth it to get what you want, I think !

I have a bad feeling that Brawn is just going to be a Gears recolor. There are pages up of the Gears retool and his new head is pretty much Brawn's.
As for Acid Storm, I thought I read somewhere that the recolor was originally going to be Thundercracker, but then Hasbro thought there was too much blue in the wave so they went with green. Why they didn't use Skywarp is beyond me.

Then you'd be guessing wrong. Brawn is upcoming, with a different mold and Micromaster partner AFAIK. Besides, using G1 retool logic it wouldn't add up, as Swerve was made from Gears.

I'm just working off Riddler J's theory above. Besides, it's not like Has-Tak hasn't already broken the "G1 repaint/retool rules" several times already within the "Classics" franchise. Looking at that upcoming Gears, I think a straight up Brawn repaint is entirely possible, if not very plausible at this point. Of course, we won't know for certain until we see pics.
I'm hoping for a new Beachcomber at this new legends scale. That would, I think, make all the original legends scale Classics molds obsolete, except for Universe 2008 Wheelie, whose figure is already the perfect size for scale with the rest of the Classics line, and an excellent representation of the G1 character too.
