Loving the Blitzwing but wont be using the head gimmick not my thing. and I think i will be looking for a suitable replacement for his gun it looks way to small and it could have been molded in purple but he they did a pretty decent job with the figure itself.
And Springer looks really good even his car mode has a sort of batman look to it..... if it came in black that is

Springer is cooler than expected, but a little too big. He cant replace Defender, but I have no problem keeping my pre-order. Blitzwing is bad ass. I wish they would have stayed away from the 3 head gimmick, but still great. I would have preferred both of these guys to be deluxe class though. The Takara version will be mine as well. I have a feeling the Springer mold will work better for Sandstorm providing they can remold him to somewhat mimmick his "hood" minus the propeller.

Once I get these in hand, GDO Springer is getting renamed Sprung, and is joining the pre-Earth bots as a younger version of this awesome triple-changing badass.
Getting Blitzwing just means I'll have to hunt down Classics (or Henkei) Astrotrain for sure now though.

Springer's robot mode has really nice proportions. He looks tall and lean, without being skinny, but powerful at the same time. Like a Cybertronian swimmer's body.

Blitzwing is an easy pass for me- half a tank mode makes for a worse figure than the G1 release.
Springer is nice, but doesn't wow me enough to make him an instant buy.
Those legends class targetmaters on the other hand - amazing. They've crammed decent articulation into Legends class figs and triple changing partners using engineering that looks like a massive step up from Armada.
Those two are totally bought and bought and will go perfectly with Metroplex.

To say that Springer is overall better than Warbot Defender is kind of pushing the envelope just a bit for me. I am pretty much all in if I ever see him on the shelves, but for scale purposes I think Defender will stay where he is. I'm also not big on the legs, I mean they do look great... when you look at them from any angle but the front.
While it is rather disappointing that Blitzwing(rather typically of a triple-changer) falls rather flat on the alt modes, it still looks pretty damn good. Personally I'm rather glad they incorporated elements of the Animated character as to me that was a rather endearing trait that gives him better individuality as a character... or characters... Plus I don't see many alternatives for a new version of the character to put on a classics shelf, so he's as good as bought!
The legends... well I'll never see them on a shelf around here, so they're negligible irregardles of how crap they look anyway.

Any idea when BBTS gets these in? All of them look awesome. Judging by the writing on the packaging it looks like the mini-cons with Prime and Bumblebee have some sort of automorph into gun mode. I do hope Roller is miss-transformed because it looks like Prime won't be able to hold it up. I'm really pleased that both Springer and Blitzwing will have weapon storage.

Springer looks real good. He caught my eye the first time I seen his photos. He looks possible+, they got him doing the one legged standing pose+ it look like he has a waist swivel+ his colors look alrit+
He looks like he can take on a couple Decepticon all by his self+ He is a triple changer that has a great robot mode and two other serviceable modes+ when someone asked what can this toy do? You got a lot to show them+ And he looks like its fun transforming that guy+

Thanks for the info. Theoretically speaking, if I were to get them from Robot Kingdom would I get them sooner than if I wait for BBTS to get them in stock and ship them out?

I wasn't very interested in Springer because I don't feel anything either way for the character and I don't like autobot cars very much but I'm pretty impressed with the mold itself. The colours have grown on me too and I kind of like them now.
Mostly, though, I now really badly want a Battletrap repaint of this guy. It'd be so good. Blue Bacchus would be my second choice. If I knew we'd never get those though I'd pick this up anyway.

Though it's not all that necessary in the first place, I'm glad to see that the face-changing gimmick looks a bit sturdier than the one on Animated Blitzwing, with his bothersome rubbery helmet.
What recent decision of Hasbro can't the above picture apply to?
