I called TRU last night to ask about the insecticons and perceptor....they said they didnt have them in stock so i thought i might press my luck and inquired about when they might be made available. i was put on hold....then hung up on lol! assholes! if they didnt know thats all they had to say! and im pretty sure it wasnt an accident because it happens often when i call about toys at stores. i dont understand whats so hard about saying "i dunno" its not like im gona get mad. its just rude.

k im done w/ my rant. :grin:

Sometimes, I feel awkward being the only one checking out the Transformers in the toy section. I feel worse when I'm indecisive on what to get and I'm stuck there for a while. I've noticed Walmart employees staring at me from down the aisle like I'm going to buy a TF just to lure kids into a van.

Anyhoo, anyone know of any sightings in Lafayette? I'll be up there this weekend and I'm wondering if they'll have anything.

I check out TRU and they still don't have the Hoist/Mixmaster set. They didn't have Perceptor or the Insecticons either, but they did have a Jetstorm.

The Wal-Mart on SR 46 had two HA Skids, but they only have one now.

I wouldn't sweat it. I think a good portion of boys toys, in particularly collectibles, are bought by adult men. I always see other guys in Hot Wheels,GI Joe, Transformers, etc. Telling the employees you collect can be beneficial as well, they might help you out.

it would be nice....although, whenever i ask (as nice as can be) i always get the impression they are annoyed to help me. even TRU employees (IMO the worst and rudest) BUT the best part, besides finding the plastic im looking for, is every once in awhile i meet a fellow hunter and can talk nerd for a bit :grin:

i actually met a really cool guy at a target, exchanged numbers and now we help each other out. he goes outa town every weekend so his search radius is broader so he scores alot of newer stuff from it.

I know clems collectibles dosnt carry TFs but they carry alot of other stuff and those are some of the coolest and most helpful guys. ive gotten stuff special ordered for me (comics and toys) and they even hold em for you. also, you can always get into a long discussion of anything nerdom which i truly love.

You go to Clem's Collectibles? I don't know if he still works there but Jim is one of my closest friends and is always pretty helpful!

I tried asking employees for help once at Target but the employee was not only rude but didn't know a thing about their toy department. I asked repeatedly about Bruticus on the day it was supposed to be released there but she was convinced that not only did they not have it but the toy didn't exist. I went back the next day and found 8 of them there. :evil:

he may work there, im really only on a 1st name basis w/ Ryan. hes the comic/collectible guy. i go in there just to talk w/ him when i can! lol

I got a tip that target out on stellhorn had the bruticus's so i drove all the way out from out south to there just to see none on the shelf. I did get a younger employee to (reluctantly) help me and he found a few in the back...but what was weird was he wouldnt put the others out, there was plenty of room!

i plan to go to TRU today...hopefully. so if i see anything new ill be sure to post it :grin:

picked up a activators soundwave at TRU...they also had grimlock. (was hoping to find cliffjumper)

also picked up universe countdown as all the ultras were on sale for 12.99, cant beat that. although they ring up regular price, i had to correct clerk and get manager (GEEZ)

i did talk to manager bout the reissue exclusives, he didnt know anything about them and couldnt get a ETA. but agreed that they usually get stuff much later than the rest of the country due to being in the midwest. Grrrrr patience is not one of my virtues

I noticed the sale on Universe figures at TRU. I really wanted to get Mixmaster Universe while there, but I couldn't justify even 12.50 right now. :/

I saw they had Unicron though up on top of the shelves. If I get Christmas money and it's still there I shall have it!

Oh, and I saw two Arcees at the Eastside Super K today in case anyone's looking for them.

I can't wait for Dirge! :sad:

I went to Fort Wayne Toys R Us today, they had 1 HA Skids after I got one and about 2 each of the Perceptor/ Insecticons Reissues. I didn't get any of those, the price of the Skids is more than enough.

Haha thanks, I'll take "poopy" as a compliment. It's probably because of the recording, we did it in our basement. We play at O'Sullivan's, Berlin, 1624 N Harrison St. Just random places. I'm the bass player.

when i say poopy, i mean gritty like. i love raw underproduced recordings of local punk bands. sounds more real to me, like if im at the bar show. EX: riverbottom nightmare band, archaic descention.

i used to go to alot of bar shows every weekend, but getting older (27) and having a kid makes it harder to go out anymore.

Target on the Eastside of Indy has a sale of 15 bucks for a Voyager. I'm tempted to pick up Demolisher and Mixmaster but are they even worth it?

Also, we need a group name...like the Hoosiercons! :grin:

I'd say we put it to a vote but I don't think the mods would appreciate us doing that here. I might put it up for vote on the general discussion forum.

Though admit it, Hoosiercons is awesome! We all combine to form the mighty CORN GOD!

What vehicles fit with Indiana?

Sorry for getting off topic, by the way. I'll update the Washington Street sightings.

Target: Some new things but mainly a lot of Ratchets ROTF, the Scout Class ROTF, and some of the same deluxe class models like Sideways, Sideswipe, Rampage, etc.

Walmart (German Church): Spotted 3 Ejectors but Scalpel is gone. They had a sale of 20 bucks for Voyager class models, such as Stratosphere and Megatron. Nothing really special though except for Thrust.

Toys R Us: They had at least one of everything when it came to Deluxe but none of the latest releases. They were overflowing with Rollbars, Dirt Boss, and Dead Ends though.

Nothing new to report, but has anyone seen any Animated Wreck-Gar's? I kept putting off buying him, and now that I want him, I can't find him. Seems to always happen that way. Any help would be awesome.

i saw some at TRU a couple of months ago....also at target west. again, it was some time ago. wait till xmas season, stores will be overstocked w/ TFs
