I opened Jetfire today, he's a long as they say. It's kinda difficult to get all the panels to snap together in jet mode though, but he's a good figure. He's on my Jetfire shelf now. Waiting on the appearance of Long Haul now and maybe some others.

I have a date with my wife to see the movie tomorrow night. I sat through one of her chick flicks so now she has to sit through ROTF with me. :grin:

Although I think I tolerate her movies better than she does mine. :wink:

Have a great time at the show, as I'm sure you will. The time goes by rather quick for as long as it is. Bet your wife will enjoy it too.

On the Jetfire thing, personally I don't plan on combining the two figures unless by some slim chance I can get another set reasonably priced. From what I see he looks pretty movie accurate, so why turn him around and not see him save for bits and pieces. He looks like the crusty old man he is onscreen and I liked him, so I want to look at him face forward.

I'm going to Indy for the weekend, if I find anything good I'll let you all know. I'm hoping UPS shows before I leave so I can take Devastator with me.

Back from Indy- nothing new to share except I saw a FAB Mudflap that looked pretty cool- I didn't get it, I told myself no FAB's this time around, although I think I liked it better than the deluxe. A couple of Targets had the Titaniums and the Superion sets. WM's and the Castleton TRU had nothing new.

Devastator did show up Friday. He's big and bulky. Four of the six pieces are nice sized, it's just that the legs are kinda small for the whole thing. Poseability is another issue, arms are well articulated but that's about all that moves. The electronics are cool-the vortex lights up inside and the eyes blink as it speaks. Is it worth $100 + ? Having now seen it I think $75 would of been a more manageable price for most people. The only thing is, due to price and shelf space these take up, you probably won't see them out for long. Personally I think these are geared for the fanboys, not mom for the kid, so they can probably base production on that, and the economy. The secondary market will have them but a much higher price than now. When I consider the legends version is $50+, this size for the price doesn't seem too bad, and looks great in scale to all the deluxes and legends. If nothing else, wait till it shows up on Hasbros website and get it with coupon codes.

I liked the movie. I thought it moved at a good pace unlike the first one. I did think they drug out Sam trying to get to Optimus a little long which I think didn't leave a whole lot of time for Optimus to fight The Fallen and Megatron. I really like the way Starscream and Megatron interacted with each other where the first one only touched on their relationship. Hearing the terms "energon, space bridge and matrix of leadership" gave me a warm fuzzy feeling of days gone by.

I was out at WM west and found both the robot replicas and legends sized Fallen. I believe they have more new legends but since I don't really follow that series except on occasion, I couldn't tell you who was new. They have all the new scouts except Scalpel, and a good aisle display of the voyagers/deluxes. No Jetfire to be seen.

I believe mine is due tomorrow.

Has anyone bought the video game for PS3 or Xbox360? I'm curious to hear another review before I decide if I should buy it.

Kokomo Wal-Mart has a bunch of leader Jetfires. Got mine this afternoon and like 3-5 on the center aisle display and like 4 more in the aisle itself.

On a side note, to anyone that has him, do you find him difficult to hold together in jet mode? I also don't know where to attach the plastic mold held by the rubber strips. I've attached the two pieces together but now they just hang there cause I can't find a place to attach them to the bottom of the plane. However, he is awesomeness squared though. Very accurate in my books.

I found a bunch of new figures at the Walmart off I-75 in Gaylord, MI, on my way back from Mackinaw City, MI to Chicago, IL yesterday ...

Mixmaster - 2 remaining
Voyager Megatron - 2 remaining
The Fallen (Robot Replicas) - 1 remaining
Sideswipe (Robot Replicas) - must've been there at some point but gone when I got there)
Scalpel - 3 remaining
Dune Runner - 3 remaining
Reverb - 3 remaining

I stopped at the Walmart in Big Rapids (nothing really new there), Walmart in Benton Harbor (had new Voyagers and a couple of Reverbs) and then at the Walmart in Michigan City, IN which had probably the largest Transformers selection (and section) of any Walmart I've been to recently. I picked up the Breakaway variation there as well as the 3 new Scouts ... but should've waited for the Scouts until I got home because I had them there waiting for me from HTS. Devastator was waiting for me as well when I got home from BBTS.

Just thought I'd pass along that the Kokomo Meijer must have finally found their Preview Wave BB's and Soundwaves, as they had around 8 of each. They and several Stratospheres and Fallens sit on a back end cap, facing the bikes.

I went out looking for the new deluxes that have been spotted around and the only new thing I saw was HA BB at TRU and Coldwater WM. They were $34.99 at both places. No exclusives were on clearance at the WM's I went to, they were still $26.88. I'm hoping they do mark ours down, they have a bunch from what I see, and I'd like to add to the collection-just not at full price. Otherwise the deluxes are $9.00 at all WM's here in town.

Target didn't have anything new but they still have the Superion sets and the new Titaniums on the shelves. TRU still has the Unicron rerelease warming the shelves, but no new movie stuff.

I ordered Devastator from HTS.

I preordered the wave 5 deluxes and wave 4 voyagers from BBTS. HTS also has these up for preorder except for Blazemaster.

I got Animated Rollout Command OP from TRU for $25 this past Saturday.

I went ahead and preordered the new deluxes off BBTS. It shows them to be shipping soon. I think I'm going to order Longhaul off HTS since I already have at least 3 Blackout repaints along with the original and the boxed set with Scorponok from the 1st movie. Hasbro, as usual, is trying to milk some of these character molds just a little too much for me. I don't feel the need to buy everything they are putting out for a change- kinda nice on the wallet to be able to look at it in the store and say no.

On another note- I really like that little toaster bot- hopefully the new scouts will be out here soon.

Other than that, I'm waiting for the Superion add-on from BBTS. I've read they have been shipping since last week and it shouldn't be long. I preordered Alternity Megs in silver,Alternity BB,Knight Morpher Commander and the Classics Command Centerfrom BBTS.

Ironically I just got note that my Alternity Megs and the new wave of movie deluxes came in yesterday and are being processed. I should see them possibly Friday but by Mon. for sure.

Welcome prOwl! Nice to have another Indiana collector and especially one in the Fort. Our forum has gotten a little small (# of members posting) and we can use all the input you can give.

Keep us posted of what is coming into your store. I live on that end of town so I'm at that WM quite a bit. Keep your eye out for the new scouts- I'm looking for Ejector.

This isn't a sighting but I hope it's helpful to someone...
My brother who works at the Kokomo Wal-Mart informed me yesterday that his store is trying to keep a low inventory of stuff on the shleves because they will be resetting for the Xmas season in the next 2 weeks. He said they have several cases of TFs in the back area but the aren't willing to put too much out at once in the event the some areas get increased and others decreased. So Hopefully by mid-August more stores will have more variety out aside from the Wave 1 & 2 stuff.

Hello. Haven't seen anything new around here for a while now.

I got my notice that Devastator has shipped from HTS.

I have another notice that Jolt, Mudflap/Skids, Dead End, Blazemaster, Long Haul and Grindor have shipped from BBTS

Today I got notice from BBTS that my Encore cassette set #2 and Bruticus set are in.

I'm looking forward more to the third cassette set as then I'll have a complete set of '84 Cons.

All the new deluxes showed up yesterday along with Alternity Megs. So far I've only taken out Jolt and the Ice Cream Truck. Opening more this evening.

I've been to a couple WM's but haven't seen anything new. I'm going to try Target Glenbrook and TRU today after work.

I got Devastator on Saturday...he's got a hair trigger.

Jolt, Skids/Mudflap, Blazemaster, Dead End, Long Haul and Grindor all arrived today. I took out all the Cons this evening. Long Haul is kinda small in vehicle mode for a voyager, but I still like him.

Encore Bruticus and the 2nd cassette set have shipped.

Bummer about the would be Encore Devastator.

I finally got out the rest of my new stuff-I liked everything except Blazemaster. The white they used on him really ruins the toy for me. They should of kept to the package colors and did black legs, etc. His lack of hands is another issue. The Skids/Mudflap combo is great- I'm gonna pick up an extra when I see them out so I can display them both ways. Jolt is rather simplistic and has alot of extra arm kibble which makes some poses difficult but he's still a nice mold.

I checked Target and they are in the midddle of their fall reset and was told to check back in a few days. They still have the Titaniums but all the Superion sets are now gone. Nothing else new there. TRU had a bunch of HA BB and I finally saw Stratosphere out at retail.

I see BBTS has Arcee and some others for preorder but @ 19.99 (for a deluxe :?:
