of all the days i wake up early during summer, it was today because i was going to universal studios. before i left i decided to check out the threads and BAM! first thread i see after refreshing is "hts selling rodimus and menasor!"

Those have been on eBay for over a month. I bought one on eBay weeks ago.

yeah but you could have bought it today on Hasbro toy shop...also you jumped the gun too soon, i had the wrong link in the first time.. and also you failed to mention the price you paid..

It was pretty obvious one of the links was intended to be a link to an eBay auction. I am pretty good at figuring things out, I guess that's why I make enough money that I don't care about spending $280 for a botcon set.

I paid $17 shipped for mine, not to bad considering with shipping on HTS it would have been pretty damn close.

Do they still only ship within the USA?

damn the one day i dont use the computer that much, rodimus had come out, i totally forgot he would of probably came out the monday after Comic-Con was over... =[

well hope they would restock sometime, im gonna set my homepage to rodimus to see if it will ever come back =[

i really hope they release more of the pepsi primes.... i didnt use my comp that day, so by the time i got on, they were sold out.... but today made up for that.

The about 10 times mark up is a bit ridiculous. You could always buy a real one for about $2,000!

I got my sets for half that much, even thought it seemed like a lot at the time, but yeah, glad I did on him.

Wow how long did take alt rodimus to sell. I was actually going to pick up due to the fact they his the last alternater to ever be made.

I would have thought Menasor would get sold out before Rodimus and yet it's now Tuesday and he is still in stock and Rodimus isn't. Can't believe I forgot about this. At least I got Pepsi Prime on the day they let him loose

I missed the pepsi prime to. My friend won one from the bottle cap thing. All this means is that i now have 2 more reasons to hate hasbro. No Hot Rod and No Prime. Not to mention classics Thrust.

Nah, if I heard anything people disliked Menasor's colors, and thought the name was inappropriate.

The Alternators were a truly hot line, and this repaint has been expected for some time from the mold. Alternator completists are going nuts, Hot Rod collectors are going nuts, and those new to the fandom probably just think its pretty cool that they have this more complicated version of one of their favorite old school toys.

You would think that more people would like Menasor to finish their Titanium collections, but with the absolute hit or miss availability of the later Titanium waves, I would imagine there are many less full sets of those around than Alternators.

I,too, did not like menasor's color's at all. Plus, it wasn't even a good mold for the toy. If anything, and I don't think this either, he should of been a repaint of Prime. At least he could have been a truck, like his supposedly dominant personality. But, IMHO, if they were going to do any titanium repaint, it should have been Prime as Nemmy. That would have sold a lot better than Menasor, even though he has been done to death, it would still be better than something that doesn't fit at all.

And, I bought Hot Rod because he looks so darn good. I mean, the kissplay version was great, but it just isn't Hot Rod without the awesome flame deco.

But I think he'll be better in person than he looked in the pics.

But I wouldn't have minded a Nemesis Repaint, but we already had WWI Magnus repainted from that mold...

Intelligence has nothing to do with making money, if that were the case then all the albert einstiens of the world would be rich and all the stupid people would be poor.. I am not an idiot, and I own a Small company, which for the time being makes me have to accept a smaller paycheck.. But someday soon, I will be making loads of cash, and will still be my own boss..It's great to not to have to answer to anyone but myself..can you say the same??

Having the money to buy stuff is one thing, but having the money just to blow on that kind of Mark up, is in my opinion, not very intelligent..

there is a difference between being smart with money and being frivoluos with it..in general that is..

Looks like I'll have my hands full tonight as I finish up Spark Blue Soundwave's gallery along with Leader Class Brawl, Alternator Rodimus and Titanium "Menasor".

Nice! At least the rest of us get to look at Alt Rodimus even if we weren't lucky enough to be able to purchase it.

no worries, mine too.. hts isn't known for their great tracking and delivery system.. in fact it sucks.. but they got it.. you'll get it. sooner than later.

I placed a 2nd order for the silver head Destro exclusive that I forgot to order initially. That figure still has not shipped yet either but that's because I selected the cheap shipping option for Destro whereas I selected the Express shipping for the Transformers.
