Ever thought of checking the Official Transformers website? It has a series of videos detailing transformations of figures, including Ultimate Optimus Prime:

BTW, optimus is not made by mechtech, its made by Hasbro, along with all other US transformers ;)

Mechtech is the BS they are calling the oversized weapons

"reverse order of instructions" is the usual official advice. thanks for the info about the online instructions though guys, I rarely have problems with any TFs, but there can be some that are a bit fiddly, so I'm not sure I'm doing them right. RTS Tracks' wings spring to mind.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.
