With War for Cybertron figures being revealed, does this mean nothing new for PotP? Or will there still be later waves coming? Any official word one way or the other?

And if we're NOT getting any more PotP toys, then who would be the best duplicate Prime Masters to pick up for the purpose of repainting/retooling into the missing figures in order to complete the set of all 13?

PotP has ended. Only a couple figures left to be released. Punch/CounterPunch, Novastar and Blastoff.

However, all 13 primes have been released in one way or another.

4 Primes are included with The Throne of the Primes from SDCC: Amalgamous, Nexus, Prima and The Thirteenth.

1 Prime included with Predaking: Onyx

and the 8 Prime Masters already released.

That's 13.

No Primes missing.

Punch/CounterPunch offers a second way of getting Prima Prime in translucent blue.

Technically, no, POTP isn't done, as there is one more wave after the (apparently) current Wave 3. The only new figure we know is in Wave 4 though is Novastar, and everything else is supposed to be repacks. So really, there's one new figure and then the exclusives left.

Outside of the exclusives, non of the wave 4 figures are said to contain any Primes anyway.

So for Prime collecting its technically over.

As all 13 Primes are out in some form.

Its unlikely will see the 4 SDCC exclusive ones in any other way any time soon.

It is disappointing that they didn't make Prime Master Suits for all of the Primes. It would have been nice to have a few more of the Pretenders updated. Oh well. I will need to get SDCC Primal to finish the 13.

Yeah, I'm NOT getting the throne of the primes. I might, maaaaybe get Punch/Counterpunch, but paying 25 bucks for a deluxe size figure really makes me cringe a bit.

Also, I want all my Prime Masters to have pretender armor. All of them. Even Onyx. So I'm gonna need extras to repaint. I have a 3d printer, so I can make the appropriate prime symbols to go on their backs. I just need to figure out who gets what armor...

Amalgamous Prime is based on Micronus with Cloudburst, whose co-tool turned out to be Waverider.

It's a shame it's ending. When POTP was first revealed, I went nuts for it, I loved almost all of them. I even forgave Optimus' grey hands and Predaking's lack of a sword. A few more waves would be great but Siege looks great too. That will soften the blow.

The only toy left to be released at retail from POTP is Novastar. Every other retail toy for POTP has been released. The remaining Prime Masters were released with the Throne of the Primes set at SDCC and you can get in on HTS in 2 weeks or preorder it on BBTS or other online collectable stores.
