i think the movie is going to be just fine. bay has a 200 millon dollar budget on the movie 5o times more than the last so the speacial effects are going to be awesome. as for the toys i seen the pics and they look pretty cool. they sure made advancments in prime and meggs the fallen look wicked and devestator is going to be awesome.

... but how much of that will go towards the script

Bay had a $150,000,000 budget with the first one. That's not 5 times more, that's $50 million more.

Alot of people fell for the Transformers nostalgia ,and was blinded by it. It was graded rotten in rottentomatoes.com by the critics. The robots were more like side characters, and it focused more on Sam and his girlfriend. All the other Autobots showed up half way in the film. The Decepticons hardly didn't even speak ,and had much less screen time than the Autobots. Jazz acted like a scrub ,and his character was wasted ,and killed immediately by Megatron. Ratchet couldn't even fix Jazz or even repair Bumblebee's vocal box. Ratchet was useless. The robot designs were horrible I couldn't even indentify with any of them. There were too many pointless sex jokes in there too. That cube thing wasn't necessary either. It was also wrong to have cybertron nonexistant. The second one won't be any better I'm sure. The robot designs look even worse than before. Megatron won't even be in it. The main villian will be a character called the fallen that never even existed in the transformers mythos before. His look doesn't even look original. He looks like the queen alien from the movie Aliens. Bay and the writers should of just had Sigorney Weaver square off with him instead.

My area has green and white ambulances. Even some red ones. It just all depends on what city you are in. The red ambulances are typically ones that belong to the fire station though.

here we got white ambulances, and 1 blue one. it belongs to some off-brand ambulance company.i'd drive myself rather than take that one

The only white ambulances in my town belong to some off-brand ambulance company. Otherwise they're all green and white.

I agree w/u 5000% i posted a similiar thread. I hate the fallen character. I'm not as pumped as i was for 1st movie. it will be ok cuz we want to like it. soundwave will have 1 line ravage eject. what does it matter if welker says 2 words

they have rasied the bar in every way.
I'm sure they payed plenty of attention to the critics and fans they were a bit disapointed in the plot, lack of robot on robot dialog, not enough robots, cheesy comical lines, trust me... they listen.

Plus... they know what they are doing now. Their focus isn't on creating the robots and introducing them... the focus is making them better, more of them, and making each one dynamic with intertwining relationships. Making it not all about the humans.

Not to mention... like every middle act... this one will be dark!!! Sweet!!!

They will love it, we will love it, I will see this at least 4 times in the theater.

How long is this suppossed to be anyway? 2 hours... 2 and 1/2?

I say make it 3... with lots of extra scenes on the DVD when it comes out:-)

Hey, Kalamazoo is a very groovy place. I go there every year for the big nerd-fest, I mean, International Medieval Congress. Any place that puts up with a bunch of drunk medievalists (there is no other kind, really), for that many years? Awesome.

All of this 'how freaky are your ambulances' talk is making me rethink a comment I just wrote on a student paper. Class: Advanced Expository Writing. Passage I was commenting on: "To be an EMT, like me, you have to go through a lot of training to gain extra knowledge. This kind of knowledge is knowledge not everyone has, like how to recognize an ambulance."

I'd thought it was a dumb referent--prove to me EMTs know a lot, you're gonna have to prove they know more than I did at five years old, which is about when I'd say I could recognize an ambulance. I guess I was wrong!

As for the movie, well, I'm still torn. Potential to be awesome, for all the previously stated reasons. And though it took me a while to get used to the new robot designs, I kinda like them now. All those...shiny...moving...parts.... Still can't figure out Decepticon mouths, though.

I agree too, but I dont agree means primus and unicron would be in movies. From what ive read they made sound like the fallen simply the original decepticon, and not the servent of unicron. Given hes hanging around on earth his angle might be different. I dont wanna see any transformer gods in my movies. Planet sized transformers with true scale would be too big to fight anything but each other, and the all spark is gone so they lack any other plot devices trash Unicron with whos basically a plot device magnet.(and a plot device himself.)

I suppose they could just make them really large and powerful transformers so others could still fight em physically, but I doubt we ll see them as their comic or unicron trilogy versions in a live action movie. I ultimately hope they continue ignore them for live action movies as galactus is a good indictator planet eating critters dont work. Even Furman in his newest continuty doesnt have them as transformer gods since they re so over done.

I ultimately beleive the Fallen will be his own bot and lead the movie in a different directino, as logically doesnt make sense not to. I feel Unicron goes against Bay more modernized world of transformers. He doesnt allow mass changing for most part I dont see something as hokey as unicron flying either. Plus I in general prefer supernatural forces stay out of my sci fi. Just waters down everything attibuting it something magical rather than just simply being really advanced tech we havent quite discovered from another world. But thats me.

rumormill's have unicron slated for the 3rd movie. lets just hope IF he's in it he doesn't get the ff4-2 galactus treatment. (oh no, its a giant cloud come to.. do whatever a giant cloud does?...) or he could be explosions. nothing but living explosions. exploding explosions, that explode explosions. that would make bay happy

the fallen is not in my tf lore ( I don't accept him as canon) just dreamwaves nerdgasm of making there character interact with g1. there own fan fiction if u will. mr. buried under a pyramid sucks. an undead transformer besides ghost starscream=bad idea

You are not the one who picks canon. You are a fan. I can just as easily say that none of the Transformers are canon, just Hasbro and Takara's way of making their characters interact with Diaclone and Microman. That sounds pathetic, I'm sorry.

Hasbro has stated that there is only one Unicron, and only one Primus. As such, Armada Unicron and G1 Unicron are the same entity. If Unicron is in the third movie as the rumor goes, does that mean it's also going to be the same Unicron?

Robert orci wanted put the dinobots and constructicons in revenge of the fallen, but Bay and the writing process seems to excluded them. I have a feeling Orci's plans will fall flat as it isnt likely fit into a vision bay will accept. I hope for all that is prime he gets the axe and some better angle as I dont wanna see it. Im with suicide Id rather they did something new than bring the planet sized plot devices out.
