Hi everyone,

I got this WST Convoy & Trailer on eBay for a really good deal ($8, + $8 s&h from Hong Kong): http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300365923717&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

My question is, do you think it's the real deal? I was looking at comparisons with other WST Convoys, and it doesn't quite match up with any of them: http://www.transformertoys.co.uk/content.php?/transformers-image/transformers-toys/wstf/convoy-vsx/convoy-vsx-027.jpg/image.html. Mine has blue eyes, silver thighs, silver Autobot insignias, black windows with silver lining (exactly like eBay pic). Anyone here familiar enough with WSTs to know?

Even if it's not the real deal, it's made of pretty sturdy plastic & I don't have any complaints. Just wondering.

I believe it to be a KO just because it is being sold by herotoysmaker. Known for his custom/KO smallest TFs, I would say these are KO.

Ah, thanks for the heads-up. I thought the user name sounded fishy ("toys maker"). It's actually not bad quality, but I just wanted to confirm. Thanks!

Yeah, for that price I don't think it could be the real deal. I believe it was a chase figure and would go for significantly more.

No worries though, I own the KO trailer too and it's still really cool.

I have the anime version from Takara. It has die-cast legs and I think it's head is as well. Also, when my Optimus is in robot mode the legs separate a little, from what I've seen the knock off's do not.

I love Heerotoysmaker's WST products, good quality alternatives to the authentics at very sensible prices. I bought from his eBay auctions more than a dozen times already, and I don't plan to stop doing so any time soon.
