3d transforming g1 chromia WIP
I'm making a transforming chromia using 3d studio max, which is why I'm not sure where to post this.
I have a couple of pictures one, up showing my progress. the picture of the front is also on my avatar,
any helpful suggestions or comments welcome

I figured out that you can only see my pictures if you're logged in
Once again I'd apprieciate any helpful suggestions or comments, don't make it look like I'm talking to myself

These next pictures show how I kind of plan to have her transform.
Of course, right now it doesn't look much like her car form yet, and I haven't made the hip armor either.
I plan to have the forearms transform similar to the springer-toy"s
(yes, I know her legs are wider than her arms, but I'll fix that)

Are you guys sure you have nothing to say about what I'm trying to do?
Are you guys even seeing my pictures or know what I'm doing wrong?
If so, say something! I'll be reasonable.

Thanks for the reply
I don't like it when there's only one person posting in a thread
even if its me.
anyway, tomorrow I'll have new pictures up.
I'm not putting any new ones up now because someone might have an idea
I hadn't thought of yet

the face helps. I got 3dsmax installed but never got around to using it. Whats the good points of using that software? Can you import a dwg file from autocad?
Sorry for not posting, its just that I seldom scroll all the way down the main page

I use 3dsmax because its what I'm used to. I started working with it my senior year of high school and loved it ever since but to lazy to get it until now plus the version I have is the 30 day trial version that you can download
you can also animate the objects and put materials on them as well
You can import dwg files from autocad, its been a couple of years since I've done it.

I'm pretty much done with the robot form, from here on out i'm working mostly on the car form and after that do any touch-up detailing
and then animate.

the new pictures I put up are of her car form as I currently have it.
and then animate.

For help with uploading pics, see any "Picture upload function disabled, here are alternatives" that exists in most of the forums on this board.
Also, for your old pics (if you have the time to sift through it all. >_>;; ), look in TFM.com's image root/source page.
Other than that... Can't wait to see the new pics.

Chromia's car form as I now have it, plus I now have a photobucket account
More pictures to come
(if you want to see the old pics click on the link in shade's post and scroll down until you start to see file names with 'chromia' on them most of them should be mine)

Also, Dave... You should upload those pics to your Photobucket account using the "Add pictures from URL" option. That way you could have them all in one place for you to get any time you wanted.

I also still have those pictures on my flash drive, so it doesn't really matter to me where I can post my pictures from.

I have two 128 meg flash drives that I got for free... >_>;;
Anyway... I was just thinking for all to see and so that pepie (or whoever) could delete them off the site. That way there's more room on site.
*Will one day send in the URL's to her pics for Pepie to remove them as she has them stored elsewhere now.* >.>!

currently designing hinges for the side panels of the car form so the panels won't hinder chromia's transformation
