Alternators Star Saber by Lobo

Postby TM Devastator » Thu Aug 31, 2006 1:48 pm

Man, Lobo did an amazing job with this one. It's my favorite out of his latest batch. The colors work so perfectly and he somehow manages to not look like one of those pickup trucks that's piece together from other pickups.

So you finally took them out of the box!

Do you have them in combined mode? :D

Thanks for the compliments everyone!

 I wouldn't DARE do that if I had them.. my luck they'd topple right on over chipping paint everywhere. kudos though, lobo, its one sexy set of paint!

lol, no I havn't tried the combined mode yet. but they truely are wonderful pieces. I was worried at first of paint chipping, but what ever you used seems to hold very well. Only joints have a bit of trouble, but that's normal. and the colors are very bright and vibrant. looks like it was actually molded in those colors.

I love this figure. It looks so extremely good and I'm so jealous of Dak that he now owns them

Combined mode is still my favorite pic. I knew as soon as they were going to actually be made that there would have to be a combined mode pic. Unfortunately, I had finished the Leo box long before SS was finished. That's why the combined mode is only on SS's box.

Gryph, do you have templates for these boxes? I was desiging one myself and fell away from it because I was working on other projects. If I could get a copy of the templates if you made them I'd be very happy, but if you don't want to give them out I totally understand.
