Where does the interview say that Megatron and Starscream won't be in the series? The article states that they won't always be fighting the Decepticons, which really isn't a bad thing. How many times can an evil leader order his troops to retreat without seeming like a big panzy? I'm looking at you G1 Megatron!

Transformers have always been apart of the superhero genre, even if they don't wear capes. The new show is being handled by veterans of successful cartoons, and if nothing else they are keeping Transformers alive.

Time zones can be a problem. Perfect schedule in some parts of America, but not so good on the parts.

Maybe a couple of replays on other time slots?

It seems logical, as many of the CN shows get play at many different times of the day... Foster's, CNKND, etc...not that I watch CN shows all the time.

I'm hoping that they will have the show also On Demand. That could help out some of those with schedualing problems.

1. I like it. JLU and Superman/Batman and the Batman were moaned over by all -- including me -- but became a hit!

2. It needs to be something fresh and is just the opposite of the movie. the realism is very high in the film, which throws the kids for a loop. with this, kids will be engaged in the process again and the complicated stories of the Energon and Cybertron lines can be simplified with out loosing meaning and coolness.
I'm not saying that kids don't dog the movie or the toys, but lets face it, most of the best are a bit difficult for the youngins' and are physically odd. This gives us and them 2 options at once.

3. it can't be any worse than RiD. and I like the concept.

Within a short time, another series will pop up or the 2nd Movie will be out and we can all rejoice!

Hmmm...I know everybody wants an adult 'Anime' type level of TF show, but remember what got us all into TFs were shows made for...wait for it.... (gasp!) children! And we still claim to enjoy the silly things today...as adults.

I'm just sayin', no harm meant, but really consider it okay that it will be a children's show if that's your main worry, and give it a chance.

As nice as a more adult themed or serious show would be, it probably won't happen here. Not for TF. The entire franchise really clings to the concept of it being a children's show, and that's the way it's probably going to stay no matter the opinion. If handled properly, however, it would be nice that has the sort of writers that can both make the shows appeal to a young audience while putting implications towards more adult, serious themes of war.

Sort of how Pixar does a lot of their hidden adult humor. Not putting too much hope in that sort of masterful plot weaving, but it's always fun to think about them doing. I'm willing to give this show a chance just after reading about the people who are working on it. I have to admit that I'm going to have to get over that art style though....
