Australia Transformers sightings
Well after next payday, I intend to go down to Target, and get myself a single Deluxe Figure.
I will then return and buy another deluxe figure.
I will repeat the process a few more times, and may even get a Voyager Class figure if they have any left.
I will then enter on behalf of all 5 people in my house (they say 1 entry per person, not per house/family) and If I am able to get more figures before the cut off date (worried about Target not restocking newer waves in time) I will be using my friends, other family members and even my gf family members to enter.
I imagine everyone will be doing the same?
Since the brochure for this week (31st to 6th June) is already out, I would say that the earliest the mass populace will be aware of the comp will probably be the following catalogue... big advantage to all of us...

Nope - it's Australia-wide! Can't wait!!!
So much for the June 2 "embargo" on Movie toys. I just got back from Target and EVERYTHING is out! A day before their sale! Even the Robot Heroes (don't know if anyone else has sighted these yet, but I just saw them) They're really cute

Also, has anyone else noticed that, so far, all the deluxe Bumblebees at Kmart are the faulty ones that break easily, and all the Target ones are fine?

Mine's from K-Mart and it's perfectly fine.
I was down at Toowoomba yesterday seeing my dad, went for a wander through Target. Protoforms and a couple of Classics.
Haven't been to my locals here on the Coast for a week, so might try this Friday.

Just a heads up for those of you wanting to get the Transformers figures during the 15% off sale;
the 15% off makes a deluxe figure (normally $26.95) cost about $23, so you will have to buy something else as well. Buying 2 real gear robots, or 3 Heroes packs though will still be fine, as 15% off $30 brings it down to $25.50.

Had a look in the shops in Hornsby again this afternoon.
Nothing new in DJs. They still have a few Titanium Rodimus and Soundwaves.
K-Mart which previously had lots of movie stuff now has nothing. They have Robot Heroes, Protoforms and Classics. I guess they got a memo about the street date...
Myer has two Leader Class Primes and no other movie stuff. Plenty of Classics though. And 20th Prime still for $149.
Target... EVERYTHING!
Well, not exactly everything. No Leader Class, but plenty of Voyagers, Deluxes, Real Gear (I got the last Speed Dial 800 but there are a few of all the others), Cyber Stompers, Cyber Slammers, Legends and Robot Heroes! 15% off everything at target too. I also bought four packs of Star Wars Galactic Heroes that I'd been looking for.
I'm going to Warringa Mall now to see what they've got and to probably buy some Robot Heroes if they have any. I'll report on that later.

Just scored Optimash Prime from Maroochydore Target. They haven't put up any other new movie stuff though, just him and the protoforms.

heaps o movie merch at Target Tea Tree Plaza, took over the Spiders turf. Didn't see any Voyager Starscream or Ironhide, are they later or did my Target just not put em out?
Got myself:
Ratchet, very cool, much better in person.
Jazz, very nice, buts hands are even worse in person.
Wreckage, cool, but his shoulders don't lock into place meaning his auto-morph chest flips up and down if you move his arms.
Barricade, awesome, frenzy is crap.
Blackout, to damn small

I'm sorry, did I say Hornsby Target had a lot of movie merch?
I've just got back from Warringah Mall and Hornsby Target pales in comparison to the Target there. This one REALLY has everything.
Heaps of Robot Heroes, FABs, Cyber Slammers, Cyber Stompers, Leader Primes, Voice Changer helmets, Voyagers, Deluxes, Legends, Protoforms, Real Gears (a whole row of each of then four varieties).
I got all four varieties of Robot Heroes. That's Prime vs Ravage, Rodimus vs Shrapnel (Insecticon on the packaging), Mirage vs Starscream and Grimlock vs Shockwave.

Hey - I was there today myself!

On a non-toy related issue... has anyone else seen a NEW movie trailer here in Australia? I caught it quickly during Lost tonight... it had NEW footage that I hadn't seen before. Wish I could've taped it - it happened so quickly but there were definitely new scenes. (might ask in Movie Forum)

Hey - I was there today myself!Yep - it's pretty cool to see TFs taking over! I think Screamer and Ironhide are next wave... hopefully, that also includes Bonecrusher too! (Maybe after June 2)

I saw the last couple of seconds of it during Heroes. Same bit of Ironhide coming out of the pool though. Unfortunately I was watching local channel 7 and the ad only appears on Brisbane 7, well, for Queensland anyway. It was on last week as well, I posted a thread in the Movie forum then because I missed it. My friend tells me if has something to do with winning a Hummer.

Nope, no trailer. It's the same with my local. All these competitions for Pirates 3 (gimme freaking Transformers you bastards!) but no actual trailer for the movie itself. My friend said the same thing was with the Transformers-Hummer one. Just the competition, no trailer. Give it a week. After all, we are only 28 days from release.

This was an actual TV Spot - just a normal Ad during Lost. No competition! No hummer!
I haven't seen this one yet at all - I'm trying to remember what was in it - a bot (not sure who) spinning in air - possibly transforming, possibly being blown away from an explosion. Like I said, it caught me off guard. I'll keep an eye out. It wasn't ground-breaking, but it did have some new stuff!

Sounds like Ironhide spinning and letting loose a missile. If it is well that's an old shot, but certainly something new to be shown on Australian tv.

Target Mt Druitt had the following:
- Leader Class: Optimus Prime: $99
- Voyager Class: Ratchet, Blackout: $44.99
- Deluxe Class: Brawl, Barricade ,Bumblebee, Jazz, Scorponok: $26.99
- Legends Class: Bumblebee, Ratchet, Jazz, Barricade: $5.99
- Optimus Prime voice changer helmet: $99.99
- Robot Heroes Wave 1: $9.99 each
- Real Gear Wave 1: $16.99
- Unleashed Bumblebee: $49.99
- Cyber Stomping Prime/Bumblebee: $49.99
- FAB: Ironhide, Prime, Starscream: $26.99
- Cyber Slammers: Bumblebee, Barricade: $16.99
No plushies, and I didnt even think of checking out the Playschool aisle for Optimash..
Picked myself up Grimlock vs. Shockwave Heroes set and Deluxe Barricade. Would have gotten both the Voyagers, but the Skydiving DVD and my License really took a chunk out of my pay. Have to wait until at least Tuesday to get more.

No - I've seen that shot you are referring to (he spins in the air, missing a rocket, then fires one off himself). It wasn't Ironhide. The shot I saw was from 'behind' the bot. Goddam this is gonna bug me.

Ducked into Chatswood Target during my lunchbreak.
They have everything Mt Druitt, had, just plenty more of it.
Bought Optimash Prime, his price ticket stated $25, but when I got to the registers, he was only $23.52, so with the 15% off he came to $19.99.
Also the Cyber Slammers are only $14.99 at Target.

That's the same price I got mine for. He's an awesome little figure.
I won't be able to get to the shops until at least Tuesday (bugger), so it'll be a while before I see anything up here. Then again, I already own it all, so I'm not missing much

Though I do need to keep an eye out for Starscream and Ironhide.

Okay on payday I will be checking out Kmarts for certain! Need those Plushies.
Took OPtimash home on Friday afternoon, and he was nabbed out of my hands and played with for a straight 2 hours. There was a consensus that he looks the best in the full Prime kit, so that is how he will stay for the majority of his time.
My Barricade has issues standing upright, but at least he does not have the hairtrigger punch!

My mother had the audacity to refer to the plushies as toys for boys. Boo!My sister thinks they are cute.
