Furthermore, why wasn't deluxe Leadfoot released? all other wreckers got deluxes in the states, but why not Leadfoot?

i have a feeling this is the same dude who bought it back when it was like $300 and is now trying to flip it for a profit.

You'll have to ask Target why they backed out of releasing that particular item, as we don't know at all. Maybe there was too much Target-sponsored Nascar merchandise already?

Dark of the Moon toys sold really poorly for a movie line, to the point where the last mass retail deluxe wave with Soundwave, Wheeljack, and Leadfoot was completely canceled for this market. Even the follow-up subline, which I think was called "Movie All Stars" or something like that, got entirely canned outside of the deluxe Optimus with trailer set.

This set was to be one of the latest released DotM store exclusives, and it's speculated that Target no longer had a desire to carry these after Human Alliance Leadfoot absolutely bombed for them. This is just speculation based on observational evidence alone, as the only folks that would truly know would be Target's buyers for their Toy department and Hasbro's team that talks to them. Four years removed, not only would they likely not remember it, but the same people have probably turned over in roles anyhow.
