Didn't this already happen in the comics, and ended up with not only Batman but everyone in the Justice League getting their asses subsequently handed to them by Hal?

Didn't Parallax blow up a star? I think I'd go with the guy who blew up a star.

How much preptime does The God Damn Batman have? I'm just kidding Hal was batshit insane and could blow up stars and planets. He could just blow Earth up with Batman on it. Unless the Batman has a Boomtube or a Green Lantern ring. Or Both. That's about the only way Bruce is going to be able to put up a fight.

So you aknowledge that Hal can beat your precious Batman?

Batman's not unbeatable. That was never in dispute. Stop taking things personally over the internet. Especially when you're arguing what cartoon character can beat who and why.

Are you special?
I'm a bigger GL fan than I am a Batman fan. But like I've said before, I use logic when deciding these things. Batman isn't unbeatable, neither is GL.
However DC over the years has turned Batman from a dude in a mask and a cape(and a gun), into a guy who can literally overcome anything.

while bats could beat gl, parallax would beat bats.

Not Hal but Hal possessed by Parallax.
Parallax made Hal insane allowing him to do things he would never do while under his own control.
Batman could beat Hal as a GL but not as Parallax....and its not about the power level its about how the character is known to behave.Batman might have a chance if he can break Parallax's hold on Hal.
Parallax would just as soon blow up the whole planet just to kill one person.
You need to stop looking at these fights like its a fight about powers or sets of numbers.
These fights are about the characters and their abilities and about how each character is known to behave.
Try useing a little logic buddy.

no, you're wrong. batman would psychologicall profile them totally different. hal is psychologically beatable. parallax is not.
there is a major difference in beating them. jordan can be reasoned with or mentally shaken. he would care if his family is in danger. for the most part (excluding how he died) parallax wouldn't care. he would go for a brutal win. hal wouldn't.
same way sidey wouldn't kill someone but the black suit would, to save an "innocent"

I think he means Spider-Man and the Venom Symbiote. Though I don't think Spidey would break his no-kill rule in the black suit, though he would come close.

Well if its Spidy.....Spidy has shown a willingness to kill if he thought there was no other option.
I dont remember the name of the story but there was a Spidy/Wolvering team up Graphic Novel back in the late 80's where Spidy tried to kill Wolverine to keep him from killing a sick defenseless woman.
And Spidy went all out on Wolverine hitting him in the head with his strongest punch's against a headstone.
After the beating Spidy got up and walked away from what he thought was a barely alive Wolverine when he got a tingle from his spider sence giving him the impression that wolverine was charging him.
He then turned around and delivered what he thought was going to be the death blow [Spidy didnt know if Wolverine could survive the hit as can be seen in the thought bubbles] but he ended up killing the sick woman instead.
The woman wanted to die so she charged Spidy from behind knowing that he would believe it was Wolverine and would throw a killing punch.
BTW all this happen with out the black suit.

It all depends on prep time. Because, as we all know, Batman can beat anyone with enough prep time.

Given enough preparation and time, Batman, simply because of his previous track record
In a straight up fight? Hal, definitely. No questions asked.

But we're not talking about Hal Jordan.
We're talking about the sentient embodiment of fear incarnate. Parallax, who used Hal for a host body.
Fear, fear which Batman uses on a daily basis.

The most likely outcome of them fighting all out would Parallax toying with Batman and offing people close to him so he'd succumb to the only fear he has (losing the handful of people he allows himself to care for). If Parallax could push Bruce over the edge he'd take him over as a host. Because The God Damn Batman is a far superior avatar of fear then Hal or Kyle.

Oh, that's not just Spidey; Superman was forced break his no-kill rule in his first fight with Doomsday, and I'm sure other heroes have done it as well.

Wait, doesn't Parallax's power come from other's fear of him, being in the Sinestro Corps and all? If you put it that way, I don't think Batsy fears him that much, and that would really affect him. So, if that's true, Batman wins.
