i dunno if this should really be here or in general discussion.. if its the later i apologise now..

ive been trying to get my DS set up to use our wireless at home but no matter what i do its just not having it... works fine at my mums and my friends house... but not at my home..

ive been trying to figure it out online and things but so far all ive come up with is something about it needing a WEP key which can only be a number and not a passphrase.. ive realised this is definatley the problem ive got... as my mothers and friends houses WEP keys are numbers.. or hex.. i forget.. but yeah... where in the hell do i get the hex WEP key for my network at home when its set up as a passphrase?! :s

if ive explained this a lil long winded forgive me.. its early.. and ive been staring at my router for an hour with no joy.. but any help anyone could give would be most definatley appreciated!!

Man, I set mine up more than a year ago and remember it being a pain. Did you already check out the Nintendo WiFi site for help? I remember I looked up my particular router model on that site, and it helped me figure it out.

i checked out the nintendo WiFi site following the error code my DS gave me... no dice. ive since figured out that my WEP key is currently set to a password... words and numbers.. apparently it needs to be all numbers.. which i need to figure out how to change without **** everything up.. lol.. if anyone knows how.. im all ears.. X.X"
