you're a brave man trike...personally i will wait until I hear a little more about this project before committing over a Hundo to it...non-color teaser molds 2 weeks ago, color shots with alt modes / size pics last week...now already up for preorder?

Too soon with too much possibility of something going wrong IMO...but more power to you.

Besides, I still have my last 2 not-constructicons to order in that timeframe. Now, if April or May roll around and there is still alot of buzz about this, then I will commit.

Chains can be left off - they're not glued or molded on. It looks fine to me.

I don't have him but I've got that MP-10.

The pic shows that Megatron's head is slightly higher than the top of OP's grill which is 18.2cm (7 1/8th inches). Top of the gun barrel on his back is 20.6cm (8 1/8th inches).

Classics OP at top of head: 16.7cm (6 1/2 inches).

So is this the ultimate classics megatron? i think it dam well is!

The size of this guy is a bonus i always seen megatron as slighty taller and bulkier? compared to optimus prime

This is a must for the price i think its bang on for what you get the size the weopons look great and alt mode is class its about time this was done

Its going to be an expensive year with all these amazing 3rd party figures i cant see much of my money going to retail this year with sixshot, megatron, arcee, runna brothers and trailbreaker in the makeing

i dont want any prime toys as of yet i was gonna get arcee but look what came along and as for generations is there only one wave to come or what? and movie trilogy ...well ill wait and see whats in that.

Thanks for the comparison. I don't mind him being SLIGHTLY taller than Classics Optimus as I won't have the two standing directly next to each other.

The more pressing quesiton is...if RK is to be believed and BOTH Madblender and Neckbreaker are coming out withing a week or two...how many of us can spare the Triple-Hundo that we are all going to WANT to spend LoL...

Will very likely buy this, pre-order or otherwise...but then again, there's no hurry I guess. Unless this is some kind of limited run..

Is he a better Megatron than Universe UN-09 Megs - that is the $60-90 dollar question (I'm betting this thing is around 80 bucks)

While I owm & love the Takara nerf gun Megatron voyager sized toy. I think this 3rd party gun/bot Megatron toy is better. because it appears to be almost 8 inches tall. looks more G-1 megatron in both modes. most importantly it appears to come with the riffle gun accessories,ball & chain weapon,etc...

I don't mind the $90 to $100+ price tage because I don't mind paying huge sums of cash for TF toys that are well made.

They made it sound like these probably wouldn't be carried by BBTS and TFsource. Not sure if that's due to gun laws, IP laws, or otherwise.

Sounds a bit fishy....

Because both TFSource & BBTS had no problem selling MP Megatron with a safety orange cap installed. Both had no problems selling the classics nerf gun voyager megatron & henkei nerf gun megatron.

I got my MP Megatron's from captured prey because they were the only ones who weren't opening up sealed boxes & installing a orange safety cap on the gun barrels.

It's extremly easy to get/buy safety orange caps to install on megatron gun/bot toys. I went to the dollar store & bought those cheap guns with the safety orange cap. then removed the safety orange cap & put it on my megatron gun/bot toys I sold at various comic/toy conventions in my state since i'm a convention comic/toy dealer.
Hopefully this site is trying to steal buyers money or credit card info.

I think some had the right idea/plan. about buying a pre-paid paypal gift card card or a pre-paid credit card gift card with a certain limit on it.

I don't know if it's gun laws...just speculation. Like I said it may be due to IP issues or something else completely. Either way, it's available at RobotKingdom, too, which is a reputable and legit site.

BTW, why do you hope the site is trying to steal money or CC info?

If cost were 100% even and I didn't know who made what, this guy would be my hands-down choice. On a side note, I have really hated just about every Hasbro/Takara Megatron since G1. Sure, MP Megs is cool, but I transform my toys like an angry child so he really wasn't made for me.

I am thinking about pre-ordering this from Robot Kingdom. However I have never worked with them before. When you pre order, do they charge your card right away? Or do they not charge until the item has arrived?

The thing that's going to kill me about this is I really do love my original Classics Megatron. Even the Nerf colors and altmode. I adore this thing. I have the Henkei version too but It's just not the leader of my Decepticons, you know? Still, I'm trying to make my con shelf an All Hail Megatron set so I do need this guy. But just look at him:

This guy is pretty damn fun! So in the end, I know I'm keeping him, it'll just suck to have to put him on the relatively boring Megatron shelf. I'll probably sell my Henkei one. Still, 5 years as leader of the Decepticons is longer than any other Megatron, even Generation 1!

Oh, and I ordered from 3rdpartystore.com. I put in my order back on the 13th and I still haven't paid for it! I just got up to the credit card part and stopped. I got a confirmation of order email from them and everything. My order status is just "Processing". Make of that what you will.

I had a stomach virus the other day. Seeing Nerf Gun Megatron leading a Decepticon display just now almost brought it back.
