Supreme Convoy wrote:...But it does have Dr. Strange putting a spell on Iron Man into seeing a zombie Captain America. Creepy.

Let us pick up arms and join the battle
Supreme Convoy wrote::BOT: Obviously we've talked about Captain America's death in #25, but elsewhere in the Marvel Universe...
Supreme Convoy wrote:My top recommendation recently is Freddy vs Jason vs Ash #1! It's based on a New Line script that was not produced and takes place after the events of Freddy vs Jason. So far, I'm loving it. It's just setting up the insane brawl that continue for the next 5 issues.
Supreme Convoy wrote:For those who aren't aware of it... after Civil War, Tony Stark has set up a program called The 50 State Initiative where super-powered people must register and go through training to use their powers under their Avengers-approved instructor. Those deemed qualified can move up to their state's Initiative team. (So California, Iowa, etc have their own Avengers team).

Which kinda reminds me of DC's Final Crisis ads where they ask "Where were you when ___."
*Sigh* I guess that's what happens when I put off reading stuff.
In other news, today I received my box of Alias comics I won from Ebay. I can't wait to read this Bendis/Gaydos goodness.

Nice haul Supreme Convoy. Did the set cost as much as the Omnibus released as few years back?
Supreme Convoy wrote::BOT: And I received these books this week...
-Daredevil/Elektra: Love & War hardcover
-The Pulse #1-14
-Dr. Strange & Dr. Doom: Triumph & Torment
-New X-Men Omnibus
Lots of stuff to read!

New X-Men Omnibus: How much did this set you back? This one has been out of print for 2 years now I think.

New X-Men Omnibus: How much did this set you back? This one has been out of print for 2 years now I think.Yep, Dr. Strange & Dr. Doom is the one with Mignola art. I know there was a hardcover one from the 80s but I opted for the paperback version since it was cheaper.
As for the New X-Men omnibus, it cost me $120 for a decent shaped copy.
I've been picking up Absolutes and Omnibus (Omnibi?) that I missed out on. Sometimes I'll get them at a steal... other times, I have to pay a premium.
I have my eye on Absolute New Frontier and that's a pricey purchase![]()
olokin wrote:what are the best absolutes or omnibus right now?
