I know, Zero Hour is bad. I can't really work with the white in Photoshop.

I think that middle one is too pink. maybe if the pink were purple... nope, purple doesn't look that good. actually, even shifting the hue to more red looks better, even though it's still pink. reddish orange looks good too. heheh, teal makes it look like some European figure.

yeah, black, white, metallics, and especially translucents are really difficult to switch between, but there are a few methods. they don't always work, but you figure them out. play with contrast and brightness. that's also how you get metallics. translucent you have to totally fake, although inverse helps.
