Fig was played by the spanish guy from Prison Break. Check out this coincidence. He played a character on one episode of CSI named Hector Delgado. Hector X. Delgado is the real name of Shipwreck from G.I. Joe. Coincidence?

The new scenes are indeed the IMAX scenes, except Figuerota's death, which is not in the IMAX version.
In other words, stupid. No new robot footage.

You know they make all theo big claims that there are 10000 moving pieces in Ironhide's guns, but then it makes it so difficult to render the video they limit the time the Transformers are on the screen to zip. I'd rather see a 1000 pieces in Ironhide's guns and then 10 time the screen time for the robots in Transformers!

Bay said that none of the DVDs would see this IMax footage. He was telling the truth.
He has no control over what Paramount does though, they're the ones having the ratings board check the extra footage for the DVD.
The company is putting the deleted scenes back in, not Bay.
He didn't lie to you, he didn't mislead you. He told you the truth and he means it. If it were up to him, which it isn't, they'd be left off of all the DVD versions.
He's stuck with Paramount's decision and that's how it has to be.

^^ True that. But if decisions were up to him, we'll also get a Blu-ray version instead of a HD-DVD exclusive.
