"I am Shockwave, the oldest of all Transformers. I was a single productnumber amongst so many others. We were created by the fives faces of darkness. Creatures of unknown origin called the Quintessons. We were Cybertronians, thrown on Cybertron as commercial and militairy products."

He remembers himself walking among many other soldier robots, guarding a new factory built by the commercial robots.

"I am the last of my kind. My body is been altered many times, but I kept my face to honor those who slaughtered because they were just out of date so many eons ago."

Shockwave opens a case close to his old body and looks at his medals and insignia's.

"I still do not know who, but unlike the others I had the ability to clarify my thoughts before getting into action. The Quintessons knew about it. They decided to keep me active so they could experiment on me. Thanks to my logic I could manipulate the Quintessons in believeing them I'd be better off serving them in the army and quickly I rose to the higher ranks. Finally I became the highest general. I used my power to gain access to their secret technological advancements. And they never knew about it."

"For eons I experimented on new technologies. I saw many product lines being replaced by new lines. I am the one who developed the first Transformers. Although these Sharkticons were merely stupid reptilian mechanoids it was the first step towards destiny. The Quintessons were so proud of it they'd immediatly send all of them to their own homeworld; Quintessa. It didn't take long before I could
experiment on the first soldier robots. In order to free my kind I needed help. I summoned my six luitenants and turned them offline, with the sole purpose of being reactivated as the first Cybertronian Transformers. I called them;.... the Constructicons. Each with his own speciality we now had the ability to begin our destiny."

He looks outside and sees them making the final preparations for the upcoming coronation.

"But although there were of a newer generation, I still was the only one who could say he had a mind of his own. And I needed to do something about it. But I never knew what. Untill the day I found....Vector Sigma; the mega computer which originally gave the five faces of darkness their lives. I had to act quickly before the Quintessons would find out. I called the Constructicons and as loyal as they always were they arrived within a few cycles. I didn't knew what to do then, so I just started talking to Vector Sigma. I begged it to gave my Constructicons life. Nothing happened"

"And then a Quintesson appeared behind me, but unlike any I had every seen before."

I got a few questions from a friend of mine who also read and likes this. So here's a FAQ section, no spoilers.

Although it's good to read your story I do not know when this takes place.
We never got to see what happened the moment Megs returned to base after an episode was over, but it might be possible most
Decepticons took time to relax, before they'd be called to go to battle again in the next episode.We follow Shockwave in the year 2005, after the Great War. (TF animated movie) After dumping Megs, Thundercracker, Skywarp and those Insections,
the Decepticons just returned back to Cybertron. Shockwave headed home to his tower and for some reason thought about the past. The coronation of Starscream will soon take place.

Why did Shockwave think he was better of as a soldier? And why did the Q's listen to him while he was just a test subject?
The Quintessons back in those times were a lot less intelligent than they appear now, in 2005. Shockwave had learned them a lot of usefull new things. The Q's were also xenophobic; afraid of being attacked by other intelligent aliens. Shockwave discovered technologies and tactics which made them stronger.

Why is Shockwave different than all the other Cybertronians? And are the others sentient?
Yes, all others are sentient, but at such a low level you might say we cannot speak of individuals. They have a primary program which allows them to receive and follow Quintesson orders. And Shockwave alternate status will be revealed in the next part.

So Vector Sigma excist, but the Constructicons allready live. That doesn't fit to...let's say the birth of the Airialbots and the Stunticons. What's up with that?
Megatron once states that Vector Sigma is "the megacomputer which gaves us all live." The Cybertronians are without almost any form of intelligence, except for the fact they execute simple programs. Just like PC's in our reality. Both of ém do not have their own will. Vector Sigma gives everything it encounters enough intelligence to be called an individual.

Why do I call Shockwave and the robots Cybertronians and not Transformers?
Simple. Shockwave and all the other robot are "born" there, and they aren't able to Transform yet.

Your FAQ is almost as long as your chapters, why?
Reading the lines it doesn't sound we're reading a story told by Shockwave himself; especially since Shockwave uses a difficult grammar.
Yes, I do not speak English, nor does anyone else around here. I am trying to write it in a matter so anyone can understand it.
