(From this point we follow a dialogue between Shockwave and ??? in the past)

All I know is who I am; Shockwave, the oldest of all Transformers. The last of my kind.

"Where am I? What happened?"

And then I heared a familiar voice "Awaken, general Shockwave."

My optical sensor went online and I saw a dark room, badly lit. Slowly six robots appeared in front of me.
At first I didn't knew who they were, but when I stared at their faces I recognized them.

"My Constructicons! Scrapper! Mixmaster!"

They kept silent.

"Hook, Bonecrusher, talk to me! Scavenger!"

Still nothing.

"Longhoul!"

He looked at me and smiled. Something I never saw him do before, since he never truely enjoyed his unexciting role.

"You smiled?"

Long Houl stepped forward and pointed into the corner where no light reached.

"Yes, I smile thanks to him."

Slowly a large dark robot appeared and my primary pump was pounding like a hammer.

"Hello my old friend, do you recognise me?"

"Tron?"

"Almost, my dear Shockwave. I am called Megatron now. Your friends transformed me into a new being. Greater than any Transformer a live."

"But why?"

"To conquer Cybertron and to enslave those pathetic Autobots. We, the Decepticons, shall achieve total domination of
Cybertron and the universe."

"The Decepticons? That name does not suit you very well."

Hook stepped forward and began to spoke in a matter I never heard before.

"It suits us perfectly. We honor our deception towards you, which will finally mean our course towards ultimate freedom.
We should honor you also for freeing all Transformers. And therefor, we have a gift"

"A gift? What kind of gift?"

Scrapper walked towards a machine which looked like some sort of stasistube.

"We have made a new body for you!"

He pushed a button and a hatch opened.

"Behold! Your destiny!" Mixmaster said.

And then I took my first gleams at the most beautifull technological achievement I ever saw. My future body powered by a nuclkear reactor and the ability to reach all my scientific goals and dreams.

I stood up and saluted "Yes Megatron, I am a Decepticon"

FAQ
Why does Shockwave hasn't got any good feelings toward the Autobots and directly calls himself a Decepticon after he saw his new body?
Shockwave got the feeling his new body could improve all off his skills to get a greater knowlegde of the universe and all it's secrets. You might say it's the first time rashness became before clarity of thought.

The Constructicons created Megatron?
In my fanfic they did. I remember a screenshot from the cartoon where Megatron stand on an operation table,
which was a moment far away in history.

Which episode?
I do not know. It might have been "Secret of Omega Supreme" But also "5 faces of darkness saga".

The screenshot contained more than six Constructicons. Where are the others?
They were never there. It was one of many errors in the cartoon the writers never explained.

But what about the IDW comic?
That's a story written by someone else, who has his own (pretty cool) ideas. I've read the first 2 parts.

Why did the Constructicons turned Tron into Megatron. Couldn't they just enhance themselves into six
Megatron like Transformers?
No, the Constructicons didn't believe in a counsil or group to lead so many others. They saw all of each other
as their equals and desided to create a leader.

Isn't it a coinsidence that Tron became that leader?
No the constructicons needed eyes and ears on the surface so they managed to kidnap a Transformer who serve as their spy.

So who was that and where is he in your story?
He has blue and white colours, red goggles and a mouthpeace. 2 smaller robots, 2 bird-like robots and a dog-like robot join
him. Do really need to give a name? He still serves the Constructicons and Megatron as a spy and walks the surface.

The Constructicons never were as smart as Megatron? Who did he came to be this great militairy genious?
First of all, as Tron he already was a great warrior. Secondly, the Constructicons gave up a little bit of their intelligence.

So why is Hook smarter than Long Houl?
The operation wasn't a complete succes and it was not reverseable.
