I'm actually quite impressed with this. This is something that I wish Hasbro would do. Well, not turn 2200 pound cars into huge statues, but make toy versions of the average cars that most of us fans/collectors drive. For years now I've tried visualizing how my 93 Taurus wagon would look as a giant robot.
I applaud this guys efforts and I have to say he chose well for a vehicle to work with. I had an '88 Chevy Sprint for a number of years and a friend of mine had an older Ford Fiesta and the two cars were only a few inches apart in overall dimensions so I know this guy had a very light car to work with in terms of body panels/parts.
I think that both the Sprint and the Fiesta would have made great mini-bots like Cliffjumper and Bumbleebe from the G1 series.
