G.I. Joe and Josh Duhamel

Besides the little references to G.I. Joe Vechiles in the movie, Does anyone else get the sense that Duhamel is the lead for G.I. Joe?

This was totally the GI JOE movie. Just look at the body count. The soldiers kill Megatron, Blackout, Devastator, Frenzy and Scorponok (sort of). The Autobots kill Bonecrusher and maybe Barricade. That's after Section 7 tortures the crap out of Bumblebee. I half expected him to come back as Goldbug after that.
