Looking at Optimus Prime's bio based on his Marvel Comics-TFU write-up, it says that he can lift 4 million pounds (2000 tons) and his punch can exert a force of 12,000 psi.
I've always thought there was an error here, since based on the same material, some of the G1 combiners could lift weights that fell somewhere between the 100-200 ton range. Also Brawn, with a Tech Spec rating of 9, could lift 190,000 lbs (or 95 tons). Taken as is, hat would mean that Prime is much, much stronger than guys like Devastator.
My guess is that there's a typo there, and that Prime's lift strength isn't supposed to be 4 million lbs, but 400,000 lbs (or 200 tons). This sounds more consistent to me, even if it does mean that Prime is now on par with a combiner (it's at least better than being so much stronger than them).
Now, here's what I want to know: if indeed Prime's strength is supposed to be 400,000 lbs instead of 4 million, what about his punch strength? Will his punches still exert a force of 12,000 psi, or does that figure need to be adjusted?
Any of you number-crunchers out there, can you answer this for me? Inquiring minds like mine want to know!
