Oh ya. I love it. I was looking at another issue where Tunnel Rat gets sent on a mission on one page, then for the next several pages you find him crawling around in the spaces between panels. Hilarious.
But the style is really fun and an interesting departure from the standard.
I gotta get off my duff and get those books.

Neat fun fact: there is a cover with Shipwreck riding Seaspray. The artist who freelanced that cover is an old friend of my brother.

I was just looking at the 50th anniversary pack with shipwrecked and CC the other day, it would be an awesome photo of him chilling on the back of RTS Seaspray :lol:

I'm looking forward to reading these comics now , never herd much positive feedback round here (not that i looked else where) but we have a similar taste

so i i'll take your word for them being a fun read .

I'm not sure these books have gotten that great of a reaction. They seem to be a pretty acquired taste. But ya, the story has a real throw back B movie/ War of the Worlds vibe.

... and sorry, I forgot to say before.Congrats to your brother, and to you Uncle G. Your niece sounds like a little Christmas angel.

Sounds like something i could get behind , i love a bad B-movie . Gonna get it read tomorrow , i'll let you know what i think .

So happy to have picked this guy up at the price i did . If i had paid full retail of £50 i think i would have been disappointed. which is shame as i have pondered the thought of buying the seekers , i'm just not sure i can pay that high end price :-?

Nice figure in both modes though .

I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT PRICE! That's like 13 bucks US. You just set some record or something. when you walked out of the store were you struck with paranoia? Did you feel like you had to dodge the Bobbies? :lol:

The only way it could have been beat is if it was a store price error were big priced items have dropped as low as £1 - 10p (someone got a double bed for a £1 :shock:

Used to have . Yep these are all great memories from a collector during his "beast mode":-(
The only things i own in those pics are the movie figures , which i can't seem to part with

A great little figure the helmet was one of my favourite parts aswell .

It was a good feeling finding this photo , i need to take more random photos like that .

These pics were sort of a gap filler until i had finished with the best part of my joe custom but turned out to be a lot of fun for me to see all the stuff i used to have even thought it was only a year or two ago .

This is the basic prototype of the Lockdown/Destro i have been working on . a simple repaint with minimum work done to the figure.

The chest on the Destro figure was the inspiration for this along with the spiked shoulder. The Destro head not so much ROTF/IDW but very much AOE which makes for a interesting crossover .

Ok so here is the mock up just to give you an idea of how the end result might look paint app wise , the final figure will be black body with some LD esque accessories .(fingers crossed)

On the fence about the red toe caps(head lights). i like the idea . it keeps reminding me of clown shoes though :o)

Also i want to use a silver chrome head but the ones i have are gold meaning buying a figure just for the head :-?

Well now that you pointed it out, that's all I can see. He kinda looks like one of the Joker's minions from the Arkham series.

Haha , he does look animated. Luckily the black body i started painting on , has changed the tone of the colours and look of the design .
