GMAT ahead for yours truly!
Folks, I´m having to do the GMAT. Prep books are on the way and I´ve done some basic practicing. Any hints on how to tackle this bad boy? Thx

I thought it was pretty easy and my score was high enough to apply to good schools (forget actual numbers). The English part was easy. I wouldn't allow more than a few minutes per math question, you get hung up on one and it will screw up the rest time wise. If they still have the written, jot notes down on paper first to layout your paper, then type it in, don't try to develope it on the computer. Those test help books are pretty good, but make sure they come with an electronic version of the test for practice.

After I did some of the practice tests to see where my weaknesses were, I got one of those Sparks Notes books on (I think it was stats for me) and worked through the book for a bit. I also got a set of flashcards to review the basics of of high school math through pre-calculus to refresh my memory.

Thanks for the input, folks. They still have the note pads, but the entire test is computer based now. It´s amazing how much of high school geometry and basic math I forgot BTW

Thats the problem, you can't go back to questions and if you spend to long on one, you won't finish th rest. If you don't know it, guess.

I'm guessing the A and T stand for Aptitude Test. Don't know what the G and M stand for though.
