Looks like I will be using the IDW style head for my Bludgeon. I'm not enjoying the other one so much. I might end up buying my second Whirl kit. I like the Tomahawk mold much better than the ROTF Whirl one.

I think one thing that could easily fix the head would be to make the teeth a bit more prominent in the mouth. Currently they're more "subdued" and pushed back, giving his mouth and chin a much less impressive look that just hurts the whole thing.

No, it's a Classics Whirl using HFTD Tomahawk, or one might be able to wreck their DOTM TT Vortex to do it.

Hehe, yea I was just thinking that earlier on when I read. I tottaly dig the feet just coz its G1 and pretty cool...screams helicopter alt. mode.

I've been waiting ages for this set, posted in the other thread that I had to plead with Robotkingdom to cancel my order, as it was seriously holding up other items released back in March/April - still a bit sore on the lack of dates (if it was going to be delayed, just tell us, rather than string us along month to month, gorram it!!)

I'm kinda flipflopping again on whether to get it when it finally DOES come out :-?

- I was always going to use the alternate head side, but, is it just me, or does the helmet look a tad too small for the size of the head? :???:

The thinness makes it look kinda 'mullet-y' :lol:

I definitely want the swords though, they look SO much better than the plastic bendy straws of the original :-?

As for the Whirl upgrade, I do have an extra HFTD Tomahawk - I'd be interested, as long as there were concrete dates....

I'm gonna get the Drone add on for sure. I wound up with 2 Tomahawks, so this would be good to give one a different look. I'm probably gonna get the Butcher too. I have Onslaught, but I put Hothead on him since I didn't have a Hardhead. Looks like I gotta get one now........

Like the Blood kit it will be good to have a different head to Bonzaitron and the swords sweeten the deal.

Question. Whats with turning helicopters into whirl this is the second kit rite? i dont see the point including DOTM BHA Whirl thats three kicking around.

I'm holding off on this now till I see someone review it...as much as I want to like it, so much about the set (the head, the chrome clashing with the body) looks very different from the item I slapped a pre-order on back in January.

Probably doesn't help too I've gotten used to Bludgeon's odd face. :\
