When we were almost finished moving (I think all we had to do was sweep and wash the dirty counters and floors, because we would get an extra $1000 for it) me, my sisters, and everyone there with us could swear we heard what sounded like a little girl singing.

That would be a Class 2. you should try talking to it. Most ghosts need someone to talk to. Or you should ask it politely to stop singing...if problems ensue, well...I'd suggest you come back here(I think better under fire, it's not my fault...)...

Well, before you can even classify anything. You do need to rule out stuff. Plus calling things like 'class 2' makes an investigator seem hokey like they're ghostbusters.
The singing, in all honesty could be a child singing elsewhere.
It doesn't have to be paranormal. The noises, seeing things out of the corner of the eye, hearing the singing. Before you even call it paranormal, you really should try to see if it's not any normal events.
To say "oh, thats a class 37 and you should (insert whatever here)" one really should see if it's just not loose pipes making the noise, unshielded wires giving off a high EMF making people feel paranoid ect.
Because what could be ghostly footsteps, could easily be loose piping giggling and hitting the floor(or in most cases ceiling).

I agree with hugo. it could be a bug seen out of the side of your eye and a creaky, old building. The singing could, as hugo said, be someone singing. My older bro, the paranormal weathercaster, is quick to conclusions.

The Time Traveller wrote:Each Halloween me, my brother and his friend would all stay up late at night, but we had to do it the night BEFORE halloween, since we had school the day after.
At exactly midnight, the 31st of October, Halloween, my friend chipped his tooth, I thought "Ooh, Spooky!" then my foot begun to swell, imagine seeing you own foot begin too lose all feeling, not numbness, worse than that, and slowly begin to swell like a red balloon, all of my energy was getting sucked into my foot, leaving me dizzy and powerless.
I just went to bed, thought if I left the foot it would go away, Wrong, my entire left leg had swollen up, the sight of it made me vomit.
I couldn't stand for over 2 months almost, I hadn't eaten either, survived on IRN BRU and cola really, and some few scraps of chicken and chicken gravy. The doctors were baffeled, I wish I had House as my doctor actually. I still have the leg swollen, some of it is just fattened and stretched and a few swollen lumps. My trousers would barely fit over the leg when I went back to school, and they were baggy! I was brushed off with Lymphatic Oedema, and given medication which didn't work, and eventually a sock which only worked when I exercised, which is almost impossible. I go out when I can now, but I'm slightly agoraphobic now, and with all the shootings in England now I'm very afraid to leave the house.
Why would it happen as the clock hit Halloween? No one asks that question apart from me. Some Ghost curse me? Or just coincidence. I haven't believed in Ghost's, UFOs and **** like that since I was 16 and started watching Penn & Teller.

They told us some pretty good ghost stories though.
They've said they get mostly encounters of classes 2-4 and sometimes 5 with a dash of 1 thrown in.

Hugo, my friend, i am deeply hurt![]()
For the sake of it i had better toss in my creds,
Age=23
Interest in the Occult=As long as i can rememeber
Credentials= Eh, well I am working as a Psychic right now. I would normally be against using the occult for finacial gain-and i would rather insisted that it is used when needed. But right now i need it so there ya have it!
Belief=I guess I am pretty old school, I believe that occult knowledge should gleamed from study, personal reflection, and meditation.

My mom is Pagan, so my interest in the Occult came naturally...
