So i just bought a new mac and Photoshop CS... and well ia m 100% lost and confused... I mean i know basic stuff but i am still kinda lost, is there a good guide on the net or somewhere to learn how to use photoshop like a pro? or at least make me proficient?

Well what are you trying to do exactly? I've come to learn that trying to understand photoshop as a whole in a quick amount of time will never work. It's best to focus on one thing and figure that all out and then move to something else.

I got nothing specifically, but the program should come with some tutorials that can point you in the right direction.

there are a ton of Photoshop Tutorials out on the net. Google is your friend.

Also there are many magazines and books on Photoshop. A really good magazine from England is Computer Arts. Their site has a bunch of tutorials and though their magazines are pretty pricey (about $15.00 in US) they do come with free software, free content and other goodies. Check them out!

photoshop does come with tutorials, they are nonsensically located under the help section, and our divided into many "How to.." examples. alternatively press F1 to bring up the help index
