I need a lesson in Japanese Transformers

I'm looking for some clarifications. After Botcon I've become somewhat infatuated with the Japanese releases. Could someone give me some hints as to what I am looking at though. I see that there are some releases denoted with a "C" and some with a "D." What are the kinds of things that I should be looking for in terms of being original, reissues, and what series they are from? Thanks

In Japan, the Autobots/Maximals are called Cybertrons since they originate from Cybertron(Seibertron), but the Decepticons/Predacons are called Destrons.
Therefore, the C-# denotes a Cybertron toy and the D-# denotes a Destron toy.
